I know OSU likes to keep the first game or two with instate schools, rather it's for money reasons or just respect to the others schools in the state I don't know. I for one would like to see OSU play some bigger schools tho. They don't have to be Top BCS 10 schools but at least schools that are D1 with a good fan following like prehaps Neb, OK, Ariz, Cal or even Boston.

Tressel will NOT provide a huge punishing to his former team. 30 point differential is about all I would expect.

I expect the game to be a lot like last years. 38-6 OSU.
Hopefully they get Pryor some PT in the 2nd half.
As for why OSU plays in-state schools at the beginning of the season, I heard the state legislature threatened them in some way so they have to now. I just wish they'd play Cincinnati every year so it's at least a BCS school.

THIS JUST IN! Time Warner and the Big Ten Network have agreed in principle to televise all network games, meaning the opener with Youngstown State and other games sceduled on the network will be shown for all in the Lima and surrounding Time Warner areas.
Won't watch this game anyway but good news none the less!

Great news, I have to work at 4 and thought I was going to either have to miss the game or rush around to ready to go in after it was over. Now I can watch it at home and leave right after.

You need to have expanded basic cable from my understanding. So while some people with Time Warner will get the game, not all.

I do not see JT running up the score on these guys, he will run it like an NFL preseason game almost with the starters more than likely sitting in the second half or so...just no APP STATE please....

Most should get it. Expanded basic is the same tier that ESPN, ESPN2, FSN, etc. are on.
What I wonder about is if Time Warner got the same agreement as Comcast. If so, they can move BTN to digital in a year.

I was able to track down channel lineups on Time Warner's website. These look like they'll mostly be the official channels for BTN around the area for this season, but don't quote me that.
