Riverdale seems to have good teams every year. LB should have a solid team with most of their starters back from last year. I also heard a rumor that a former LB student is coming back to LB and should be a solid player.

Continental will be the team to beat in the PCL again this year, but will not be the same team that has only lost 3 games combined over the past 2 seasons.

I think Continental will be at the same sectional site as Bryan. Can they get by them this year?

Did Liberty Benton lose that many of last years' players to drop to 4?

LB lost 3 seniors to graduation but still look to make alot of noise at least in NW Ohio.....They should be moved up higher on findlaytrojan's list but heck it was a nice try though...................

The 3 seniors who graduated were both of LB's forwards and a central mid fielder. One of the Forwards was all district and and all state. That is tough to replace. When LB proves they can score goals, I will rank them higher.

I just remembered. Lake beat Genoa at the BG-Ottsego invite. And they just beat Swanton in a scrimage last night. So they probably deserve a spot in top 10

Here's a few more facts for you trojan, they return 1 all district-player plus 4 other first team all league selections. The two forward spots were filled by two players who have more skills than last years forwards but before I insert shoe in mouth I am not taking anything away from last years forwards because they were for sure power kickers. The other spot has been filled by Amber Peterson from your area trojan and my gut feeling on that is she will be solid. In a scrimmage last nite from what I heard one of the new forwards had 3 goals so I guess time will only tell if they can score goals plus my saying has always been DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! In the regional game last year when LB lost 1-0 the LB offense was pretty much nonexistent maybe for the exception of Amanda Hyde who in my opinion was the best overall player on that LB team and for sure is the best this year.

Findlaytrojan,

Your not sore about the transfer thing are you??? whistling.gif Just jabbing at ya!!! I'm a findlay person at heart anyways since I graduated from there...... hifive2.gif

Findlay, 6 of your top 10 are at the OG sectional site. While at the Rossford site last years' second seed had 3 wins. We want transfered!!

Everyone piling on to the newbie. lol. the OG sectional was the NWO group of death last year. Archbold, OG, LB were truly the class of NWO soccer last year. Bluffton, Wauseon and Riverdale would all have competed very strongly for the title in other NWO brackets. Bryan got all the way to the Regional Finals, thats why they are ranked high while Genoa won their district and return all of the players except for two (Don't ask how I know all this). I will wait to see how Lake matches up before throwing them on the list but it is true, too many strong teams in the OG bracket.

Grace, maybe you guys should have recruited a little harder before last season. If you could have gotten both Peterson girls, you might have won it all! Defense does win championships but if you pull players from your defense to play forward, aren't you weakening your defense? All I am saying is that LB has holes to fill and they won't sneak up on anybody this year.
