Kalida - They always started out slow in pony league but by the end of the year tourny you never wanted to see them. Seems like they had a big right hander with a ten dollar name with growth plate issues who could throw it through a cement wall. Also if I remember right they had pretty sollid hitting top to bottom.
Ottoville - What I remember about Ottoville is they should drive the ball around the park and play top notch defense behind their pitchers, but their pitching was suspect. I also remember a catcher that should probably be a Junior that I thought was going to be a good one.
Miller City - I don't remember anyone really standing out for MC but I remember them just being solid top to bottom, athletes at every position. They did, if memory serves me, have a chunky right hander that was tenacious enough to keep them in most games.
Columbus Grove - I remember Bogart & another big tall kid that played first and pitched. Seems to me they had just enough hitters to make things interesting.
Pandora-Gilboa - What I remember about them is the Howell kid buzzing along, mowing us down, when he split finger on his throwing hand. He was raw, but there was potential, but I don't remember much else about them.
Leipsic - They struggled, but I remember them bringing up a Mangas kid from LL that might have been one of the better shortstops in Leipsic for a while.
Ft. Jennings - Don't remember much about them other than they were decent.
Continental - They too struggled.
I'd have to go back and dig out my old scorebooks to jar my memory further......

The Howell kid should be one of P-G's ace's this year. Austin Blaski is there other one he also plays shortstop, I'm pretty sure that he made first or second team last year and should definatly be in the running for POY this year since Gusingers gone.

Lee is not playing baseball this year, hes playing AAU basketball, I don't think that theres anything wrong with that. Should be fun to watch on the hardwood the next couple of years. He would be a nice asset to the baseball team thats for sure.

Yah try Ross Gerdeman for FJ, and Austin Blaski from P-G, there is no way you can't say either of those teams shouldn't be in the running for the # 1 spot.

dont think those 2 fine ball players can win the league on their own.jennings lost a ton of talent that will be hard to replace.just my opinion.and i agree, they are both very nice players, but wat will they have around them to help?

Fort Jennings has a great sophomore class returning, and so does P-G, not sure thats enough to win the league for either team but, I think that they'll be in the running.
