Who you got, Pats or Giants?

Hate to say it because it will mean that Vic was right but going with Pats 24-21.....

The real question is this: Which of the following storylines will be the one to make me swallow a poisonous household chemical:

1.) Peyton's little brother is totally neat and wants to win a Super Bowl just like his big brother.

2.) ad nauseum: New York Boston New York Boston New York Boston New York Boston

3.) Fawning tributes to Tom Brady

4.) Any time Mercury Morris is allowed to speak publicly

It's going to be awful. Just... awful.

I think the Patriots will win easy in this one. The game a few weeks back will not resemble what will come of this one. As much as I hate to say it, old Beli will find a flaw in their defense and score unlike Green Bay. NE has not played well and they are due for a good game, especially with the extra week to prepare. Little Manning does not get the trophy in this one and still has to look up to big brother.

I don't think so. GB has better corners than NY and the only advantage NY had was Burress being 6'5". Most of NE WR are only 6' which would have been to GB's advantage. Not near as many jump balls as with Burress who scorched them for like 145 yards. Hard to argue since it will never happen but on paper they had the better match up. Favre just had a bad day and picked a crappy time to do it. Give NY credit though for pulling out the upset and winning 2 games the hard way in the playoffs, on the road!

I'll take the Patriots big.

Let's get one thing straight.
1. Peyton Manning did not win the Super Bowl last year.
2. Peyton Manning was able to avoid losing the Super Bowl last year.

So thats why he was MVP right? Because if thats the way you want to play, then Tom Brady never won a Super Bowl, he just got a kicker into position to win the game for him. At least Manning won his Super bowl by more than three points...

Super Bowl as in one. For Tom Brady, Super BowlS as in 3 I believe. I'm not going to say Peyton didn't win it because he and the Colts did no matter how pathetic the NFC was. However, the Rams, the Panther and whoever else (I don't really care) were probably better than the Bears. Both are elite QB's and Brady has a few more rings.

I thought Rhoades and Addai should have shared it that year, but I think it was better to be on the safe side, let Peyton win his ring and Cadillac, rather than have him on suicide watch for who knows how long until he could sniff it again.

Brady has 3 Super Bowl victories and 2 Super Bowl MVP's.

I do detest Peyton Manning and Eli Manning and Archie Manning, but I think it is unfair that nobody recognizes or remembers Peyton's Super Bowl victory last year.
