Well, whats the thoughts on this rivalry?

I say Ohio State takes the crowd out early with 2 early touchdown passes, and the defense gives no touchdowns.
Final: OHIO STATE- 24
PENN STATE- 9

Man, I hope so. I think OSU's defense wins this game for them. Of course, it would be nice to Beanie rush for another 200-some yards!

I'm seeing something like OSU 17, PSU 7. This should be a great game either way.

I look for Penn State to dig in deep and make it tough on the OSU offense and feed off the energy that the crowd will provide. Will probably make most tackles and not give up big plays. OSU offense will have to earn everything they get.

OSU defense should be able to contain Penn State for the most part and can not afford to give up any fluke type of plays (returns, turnovers, bad bounces or deflections).

OSU should win but won't be surprised if Penn State somehow pulls it out. If Penn State wins, they won't score over 20 points.

It seems like whenever there is talk about OSU losing to an inferior opponent, Tressel is able to fire up the troops (especially the the offense) to come out and dominate. I am sure the players are pissed that they aren't getting any respect by the media with their number 1 ranking. I see the Buckeyes coming out pumped up and ready to bury the lions. I don't think the white out will work to well when they are losing by a couple touchdowns right off the bat.

I don't think Penn St can score a touchdown.

I'll go with Ohio St 13-6

Ya' know, people talk about getting nervous about specific games Ohio State is getting ready to play...I tell ya', I get nervous about EVERY game Ohio State is getting ready to play...especially this season, watching so many teams expected to be great lose to sub-par teams. So here's hoping Ohio State wins, but I'll certainly be anxious while watching.

If OSU wins, it will be no thanks to the offense.

I cant believe all these people think it will be an easy win for OSU. ohio state 4 or 5 out of the last 6 times they have went to happp valley. I am defintely rooting for ohio state, and i think it will come down to who has the ball last and if they can score a TD. I hope they win because i have tickets to next weeks game against wisconsin.GO #1 Bucks.

Greenwave-it is interesting that you used the term "Border War". I really had not heard OSU fans use that term...but where were you last night????

We all know he was going around Greenville partying for their fantastic season. Any chance at the playoffs for the Waves?

With the final score being 37-17, I have to laugh at some of the responses above.

Way to go Buckeyes!!!

IMO the Buckeyes looked like a #1 team after the way they played tonight. Enjoyable game for a Buckeye fan to watch.

This is without question a big win for OSU and a baby step in the direction of shaking off some naysayers.

That said, just who in the world thinks Penn St is any good? Michigan beat them when they were #10 and UM was reeling early in the season. They were starting a true freshman quarterback with a very limited gameplan and beat them. Not to mention Penn St still had Austin Scott in the backfield. I think the Buckeyes won a game in a tough environment last night against a half ass team.

I'm starting to change my opinion of their offense but can't say they'd be my pick to make it to or win the title game.
