OH! I only went to a few games last year and he didn't do good when I was there, however one of my friends has a son on the team and he let me see their stat sheet for the year and to my surprise "Bill" was in I know at least the top 5 in BA on the team.

Chuckfinster - you asked me what players really stand out to help their teams... The way I see the NWC is that LCC has a #1 pitcher that makes everyone else's look like a #2. LCC has a lot to replace behind him though, but you still got to beat the #1. Therefore I think the LCC defense - whoever they put in behind their #1 will be the key. Defense wins (or decides the outcome) of most HS baseball games. If they are up to the task, LCC will be tough. If not, someone who can put the ball in play and steals a couple bases might beat them. If one or two teams can beat LCC, the race is up for grabs. Ada (Dysert) and Crestview (Orsbon) have stars, but they aren't pitchers that I know of. DJeff and Paulding appear to have depth. What does everyone else think?

I truly believe this years conference will be pretty balanced. No team really stands out to be able to dominate everyone they play. Should be a fun spring of ball to watch.

Add me to the list of those who think this is wide open. Jefferson should be very competitive if things go as planned.
I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

In my opinion the line up will most likely go like this:
SS Schuerman
P Joseph
2B Miller
3B Fisher
C Kraning
LF/RF Gerdeman
CF Menke(hit for by Bastian)
1B Wilkin
LF/RF Antalis
B Rahrig
B Carder
B Hessling
Of course they would have many different line ups because it all depends on who is pitching.

Gerdeman is a decent player but I don't think he should be used in the field. He has a great bat, but I don't know if his knee can stay up to being as healthy as it was before. I know it slowed him down from what I heard, but the question is will that affect him out in the outfield?!

Does Delphos Jefferson have a jr high program?

^^ No. They usually don't even have enough kids to field a Freshmen team. The Frosh's play jv. There are 4 Pony league teams in Delphos (5 last year) that play during the Summer but track is the only Spring jr high sport available at either Delphos school.
