Ugly game. Dunno how Braylon Edwards was rewarded a 1st down there on Cleveland's last drive, let alone wasn't ruled to have fumbled. But, oh well, Bengals shouldn't have had themselves in that situation anyways.

I'd say he was about a yard short, and yes, that was a fumble.

Looks like the "Mistake on the Lake" just beat the Bungholes.
And yes, Edwards was probably a little short of the first down. But it wasn't a fumble since the official blew it dead because of forward progress was clearly stopped.

He may not have gotten two feet in, but it was a first down "completion", if I do recall. The way the teams were moving the ball, they Bengals would have gotten into the end zone soon thereafter. And he had caught the ball while bringing up one foot and then put down the other foot, so I can see why it wasn't overruled.

Lets just face it...the officals where terrible all day for BOTH teams. One particular penalty that sticks out to me was the offsides by Cleveland D when you can clearly see Palmer move back WITHOUT the ball. Palmer drew the D offsides when he moved. Call should have been motion on the offense ie: Palmer.

A lot of gutsy throws by anderson, but all in all a HUGE improvement from week 1. If this continues, quinn better get comfortable on the sidelines. Go Brownies....
