I don't think that the boys Varsity would allow them to share fields, but anything is possible. I have a feeling that they will be at the rec fields and maybe just play games down the hill. As a varsity player, I can't see Swaisgood giving up time at his field for a girls team... and the school doesn't have room for another field.

People out there have offered area to VB to allow for more soccer fields. But you're right whatever field that they get, it will not be the Valley.

hmm..so yea..us girls have been pondering where we would practice if we happen to get to become a varsity team (which would be sooo great!) we were thinking that we would probably have to continue to practice at the complex, or practice right after school in the pit, possibly sharing the field w/ the guys..but from what you say, that doesnt seem too likely unfortunately..the girls only have one more game against spencerville on october 1, wish them luck! and good luck tonight guys against miller city!!

From my sources, I have heard that VB is going to wait until 2009 to go varsity....

VB would have to wait until 2009 to become varsity anyways. The club team was started 2 years ago. They have 1 more year of club (2008) and then they'll go varsity (2009). But thanks for that clarification knightmare.

I think earlier they were trying to figure out if it was actually labeled as 'years' or 'seasons'. Since the girls played summer season, I think some were hoping it was 'season'.
Life is a gift...that is why it's called 'the present'
