Perhaps if they brought Coach O'Brien back, he would be able to provide a lil' bit of a "financial cushion" to keep Oden at Ohio State a lil' longer....

Eh...I'll keep Matta... biggrin.gif

Sounds like Mike Conley, Sr wants some publicity from his kid too......sorta like a Ginn, Sr from Glenville.
I wanted to have a career in sports when I was young, but I had to give it up. I'm only six feet tall, so I couldn't play basketball. I'm only 190 pounds, so I couldn't play football. And I have 20-20 vision, so I couldn't be a referee. ~Jay Leno

Well, I dunno about NIT, but I think they'll still be competitive next season. They've got some good players coming in, but obviously losing probably 2/3 of the contributing members of the team in Lewis, Oden, Conley, Cook, and Harris. Still have Butler, Lighty, and Hunter, plus some good folks coming in. We shall see.

Conley and Cook not gone yet, just declared without agent. If they don't go high enough they can come back. That is the only nice thing of not having an agent, choices.

I really don't think Cook wants to come back, regardless. He'll have until some time before the draft to pull out, but I don't think he will as long as he gets a draft grade stating that he'll get drafted.

Of course were still going to be good we have some really good players coming in...we have like an another 7' 1" guy coming in that can shoot the 3 ball really well. We also have this 6' 8" ish guy that averaged 42 pts. a game which is amazing...I think that OSU are going to make another championship run next with or without the 3 freshman
