Josh Hamilton just connected for his first MLB hit, a 2R HR...Ball actually ended up in the Reds bullpen, so pretty easy to get that one to put that one up on the mantel...

Brandon Phillips follows with a solo shot...

Tigers get back to their winning ways with a little help from baltimore's defense.

Granderson is hot right now.

Craig Monroe with the 12th inning, 2-out Grand Slam to lift the Tigers to a 4-1 win over the Orioles.

Josh Hamilton belts out another HR for the Reds tonight. Might start to get hard to keep him outta the lineup. Granted, only two starts in a row with a HR each night, but carryover from spring training and ya' gotta think he is gonna bounce around the OF starting various places.

That was a great game last night. I fell asleep in the bottom of the seventh only to wake up during the 9th to see the final inning. Great to see the Reds get a win after losing three in a row.

I wish so bad that Griffey would have just one year like he had in Seattle in a REDS uniform... 45 homers-130 RBI's ... I know its just a pipe dream, but for him I wish it would happen... just to quiet down all the naysayers hes had since hes been in Cincy.

Speak a lil' too soon today? whistling.gif Boy, when the wheels fall off Carlos Zambrano, they fall off FAST!!!

Chad Moeller gets the rare distinction of being a pinch-hitter to hit twice in one inning, as he hit for Harang in the top of the 5th with a runner on 1st and no outs (5-0) and comes up again with one out (only because Juan Castro struck out right before his 2nd AB) and with the bases loaded...and strikes out. Then Brandon Phillips strikes out. Geez...but at least they got 6 runs in. But, damn, 3 straight strikeouts with the bases loaded? C'mon! Connect!!!

One thing about St. Louis. They started out 0-3. Now they are 5-4 with a 5-1 road record. They're on their way now. Looks like SI has been off so far. Picking the Reds to finish last in the division with the Brew Crew just ahead of them.
