Anyone watching the women's NCAA? Two of the #1 seeds fell - HARD. And Duke's Coach going to possibly Texas? Pat Summitt going for National Title #7?

Any thoughts?

I watched the BGSU Sweet 16 game, but that's been it. Beyond stating that, I guess I can keep my thoughts in my head.
"You, my good man, are a scholar and a gentleman."
"Well, I may be a scholar, but I most certainly am not a gentleman."

Yeah...exactly...I was watching with two girls that used to play in HS (and one that played at college for a year) and the one commented "Geez, is girls' basketball ALWAYS this boring? Wow, I pity my parents for having to go to my games if they were anything like this!"

They aren't ALL boring, but the BGSU game I watched against ASU was pretty high on the 'boring meter.'

Come on guys -- you would LOVE to have Pat Summitt as a Coach! Best ever IMO. I've seen Tennessee play several times -- incredible and NOT boring. Should be very good games this weekend. I'm with the Lady Vols all the way.

However, some of those girls are very scary.

I tried watching Tennessee play the other week but found myself changing the channel in less than 5 minutes because it was BORING.

boring? BORING?!

OK - maybe SOME of the games can be boring. sleep1.gif

But I think the women are more fundamentally sound than the men. And more teamwork with the women.

They jump 2 inches! Maybe they are fundamentally more sound but I gurantee that all the final 4 teams of the men's could spank the women's teams.

I wouldnt say they are all fundamentally sound as a guys team, its call the girls dont play as aggressive on defense

Tiger- I certainly hope the men could beat the women! And would you care to jump against Candice Parker? I do believe she can jump more than 2 inches.

I canNOT stand Ivory Latta! But she is good!

Geez - do I have to go over the difference between boys and girls again? An entirely different game. Would you really want the girls to be as aggressive as the boys?????

Yes, I wouldn't mind jumping against Candace Parker. I would want the girls to be aggressive so I don't fall asleep watching their games.
