Does anyone out there have info on how Ada, C-R and Riverdale have done so far this summer. I know Riverdale is going to the BG/Otsego tourny this weekend and I will probably watch them once. I saw C-R play Start at the Pete Raffa a few weeks ago and they looked pretty good in that game. And I don't have a clue what Ada has done this summer. So if anyone else can share what these 3 teams have done so far that would be great.

I watched C-R play Oregon Clay at the Pete Raffa and I'm pretty sure it was a 0-0 tie (correct me if I'm wrong) and their defense looked pretty solid, but their offense looked unimpressive. They've got some talented athletes up there, but not one of them knows how to shoot the ball on goal right now. Hopefully they don't get that figured out until after P-G plays them.

I don't know anything about Ada or Riverdale other than I think they lost more starters than C-R did. And since I went to school with coach samsal in high school I'm rooting for C-R to win the NCOSA.

Thanks for the update xfactor6. Sounds like a good showing up at the showcase.

Congrats to Ada on 2nd place down at fairborn. How did Clum look?

Technically Ada got third out of eight teams. Fairborn is not a true tourney.

Bracket A vs. Bracket B

Ada lost out on their bracket to Temple Christian, and won the third place game against someone else.

I think that Danny scored all but one goal. The other was by a freshman who looked pretty good when I saw him play Kenton. He should get a lot of Varsity time, sets up his teammates well.

Thanks formercoach. Sounds like Clum is going to be a force to be reckoned with again this year. I'll bet he sees alot of double teams this year.

What grade is Clum in?

And when I look at that other site from time to time I see that alot of people have Riverdale as being one of the top five teams in NW Ohio. I thought they lost several top players to graduation last year.

I'm pretty sure Clum will be a Junior this year.

Riverdale lost some key players, but they still have their keeper and the core of their defense back. Offensively they have some holes to fill, but I'm sure they will fill them. As for being one of the top 5 teams in NW Ohio, that remains to be seen.

Riverdale looked pretty good from what I saw. I was also impressed with Mohawk's improvement.

Yeah Riverdale looks like they are ready to go after another NCOSA title. The Gil kid on defense played really good.

I don't know what you saw in mohawk though because they got blown out in their first 3 games and couldn't even score. Looked like same old bad mohawk to me.

Well when they have 13 kids, and two are girls (competing against all boys), they are bound to get stomped once in a while. I didnt say they would win a title, I just tthink they were better than in the past.

I didn't get a chance to watch mohawk play at the tourny, but I did go to the PG Mohawk game last year and they were really bad then.

MUF you do make a good point though. Their game against VB might be a close game. I hope they beat VB. I can't stand their coach.

I don't know of too many people who do like their coach.

And does anyone know why CR and Ada weren't at the BG/Otsego tourny this past weekend. I thought those teams were typically up there.
