Paulding 5

Grove 1

Paulding is now 3-1 in the NWC, and the schedule shows Jefferson thursday, and LCC next monday. Looks like the LCC game is going to be a big one.

I wasn't at the game but I said before the season started that the Cats are probably a year away from competing for the crown but if taken for granted they'll jump up and bite somebody, guess it was the Panthers. And let's not forget, everyone is trying to set their pitching up for the tourney this weekend.

well watch for bluffton in the upcoming years. the 2009 and 2010 seasons are going to be great for the pirates. Look at who they had this year... freshman zach devier, .900 to 1.00 fielding percentage, hit second in the line up, solid player, Freshman matt suderman, .222 batting average, was a Dh for most of the season, 5.15 era, but he did pitch against crestview who absolutely shelled off him, he was the number two pitcher for the pirates, sophomore devin kisor, NWC honerable mention at short stop.. this guy is about 5'6" and hit clean up, had the second best batting average at .492, right behind adam wietholter. Then theres freshman joch anderson who pintched ran and played in four games. Not a good batting average yet, but a solid glove, great in the outfield. Frosh frank long had a .212 average Dhing and pinch hitting. Cody bryer played solidly in the field and has a strong bat, and evan skilliter saw some time on the mound. Only 2/3 inning though. So bluffton has a great team coming up and could be in contention in the very near future.
