If Ada can get on a roll in the league, they will be very tough to beat. It helps having DI athlete on the team. I could be wrong but dont they have CG on monday? If they start off well, watch out.

What does the NWC look like after a couple of weeks of the season?

There has been a few NWC games that i know of. LCC beat Spencerville, and crestview beat grove. Those are the only ones i have heard. Conference play will pick up alot this week, if mother nature allows.


Just looked at the DJ website. and seen Lincolnview over DJ , and Bluffton over AE. Paulding and Ada have yet to play.

Jeferson has wins over Kalida & DSJ and losses to Parkway & Lincolnview.

Ken Jochims is my father. Hokey Jokey rides out his young arms to some good wins. And with a sectional full of nothing they should go deep into the tourney. But then they hit Kalida.

Most of the guys he (Jochims) is playing are juniors or seniors. There is a lot of leadership on the team. But can they carry that leadership to a win past Kalida? Hell, in this weather, we might never play a game.

What is everyones record in the league? Ada is 1-0 and that is all i know about the league. They got a tough game tomorrow against Delphos. Hopefully they can pull through.

Ada is not playing their game today against Delphos Jef. It will be tomorrow at 430

That was a big win for Jochims and the Dogs. Got in some trouble in the 6th but got runs back in the bottom of the inning. Big win and got a huge game monday.

Paulding got there first NWC win thursday over bluffton 13-4. Randell smith got the win. They are now 1-1 in conference play, they got hammered by crestview monday. I think they have ADA on monday.

LCC won 5 of 6 this week, beating Ada, Ottoville, Kalida, Allen East and Parkway. And lost to Fort Jennings. What has other conference teams done?

Ada run ruled AllenEast last night , then run ruled Perry 20-8 in the 1st of dbl header. 2nd game Ada up 4-0 in 4th. Had to leave so don't know the final yet.

Paulding over Ada today 4-3. Looked like things were coming together for Paulding, a good win. I did notice however the #22 Baron on the bench with a wrapped up finger? Has Paulding lost their 2 hitter / how long is he gone?

NWC, i heard they had a few injuries saturday, the one i was wondering about was the riley kid. Was he able to play today, and did he pitch?

PHS he did pitch against Ada on Monday.
On Saturday the Barron kid hurt his finger again, there are alot of sore arms, there was some good news , the starting third baseman is back but with a brace on his knee.

Barron has a mild fracture in the index finger on his throwing hand. He had the same finger injured last year. They are taking more Xrays and seeing ortho specialist Monday. Pretty much only available to pinch-run until then.
