I'm glad to see Fort Jennings won this one. They totally dominated both overtime periods.
On a positive note about the fans, I think it was great to see the awesome support and enthusiasm. Both sides were yelling almost the whole game. Great game Pirates, and good luck on Monday, Jennings!

FJ played a great game, very fun and thrilling to watch. I beleive this is the best they have played all year, they have the motivation now. I did not hear anything about FJ people causing anything, but I did see Jennings, and Continental parents backing up Continental high school students. Im not trying to put them down for this little incident, but that is very disrespectful to FJ, and just to there own town. Good well fought game to both teams, good season Continental, and good luck the rest of the way FJ.

It was a great game and it was good to see many FJ fans and most of the students from Continental there being there was a school dance Continental students missed to be there. And as for the spitting from fans, some of the FJ fans and players were taunting the Continental students, pointing at them and making smart comments, and grabbing their jerseys and taunting some more. I dont think it was right of the Continental students to spit at them and such, but it was surely not right of the FJ students and players to act like that eaither. I think it was bad sportmenship on each end.

it counts both ways, what fort jennings did was very immature!!!!! continental didn't run to there student section and taunt them when they taught they won, which fj is d#mn lucky they had a ref who wanted them to win, I find it kind of weird that it took the ref about a minute to make that call and then when the continental coach asked him which player made the hand ball he said he didn't know, so how can he call a handball on continental when he don't even know which player made the handball, how does he know it wasn't one of the fj players arms if he don't know what player it was, VERY POOR CALL!!!!!!!
however continental is lucky that fj missed the pk they had in the first half and that the free kick in the seccond half hit the post, that should have been game right there...

but also what continentals fans did after the game was verry immature, but if you have went to some of the continental soccer games, you should have noticed that there is about 2 or 3 kids, allways the same kids by the way... (we wont mention any names but they know who they are) well annyways these kids just have about 6 more years of growing up to do and then they might start acting their own age!!!
so please don't think evry one in continental is like that!!!!!
I really hope the athletic directors from continental will have a good talk with these kids!!!! because after all kids is what they are, you would think as seniors they would know better!!!!


however congrats to FJ you guys played a good game!!!

and there is allways next year continental!!!!
to bad them 3 seniors are gonna be gone, these guys just had so much talent!!!! they were great players good luck to them!!! sorry to see their season end due to pk's!!!! they played hard against FJ!!!!

The refing for this game was HORRIABLE! The ref on the players side had an ichy hand because of all the cards he gave out for very stupid remarks, that ref didn't know what obstruction was continental was hanging all over the jennings players. As for the fans I didn't FJ's fans do anything, but I guess I am wrong, But what the Pirates did was very disrespectful!

Yes I belive so, and if you were at the game you could have easily seen that the refs were very bad!

all of the blame needs to quit being put on the conti fans and students.....i know there was a few immature acts, but fj has a great program that has advanced far in the tourney the last couple of years, why don't they act like they have been there before. With that being said, I will say good luck the rest of the way for the PCL teams

Congrats on a great season to both Continental and FJ. Sorry to see the Pirates season end on a sour note such as this. Im not going to say anything about the gans or the refs...we all have our opinions. Great job to the three seniors on the Pirate squad. I call out all the Continental fans to go bring that same intensity to the MC game and root for our neighbors down the road!!!

What are you taling about long time to make that call he has to play advantage and as soon as the ball went in called it i was right there. I didn't see the people taunting but i herd some words said from cont. fans that didn't need to be said, the call was a good call and the game was great. To bad we r gona look at this game as the game that a brawl about happened, instead of a well faught game and a game i am going to remember for a wile. Yes taunting it was a heartbreaker for them and everyone that was apart of it shoulb be ashamed.

haha u was right! yea that is terrible! Very, Very unsportsmanlike...but emotions pri ran very hight n it souinds like a great game.. congrats to FJ but their season mite b over on monday

haha how is he playing the advantage when it was a handbball on continental and they was going straight to FJ goal, how is that playing the advantage for fj... or wait maybe he was playing the advantage for continental because like he told the coach he dinn't know which player made the handball so at first he must have thought that it was a handball for fj and then let continental play the advantage, but then continental scored, which is not what the ref wanted so then he changed his call....



oh and once again here is another FJ fan who wants to make his students look like little angels nope they didn't do annything wrong lets blame it all on cont. what are you one of there students and were you one of their kids acting immature or something, because I was at this game aswell and I saw it both ways cont fans were immature, but not anny worse then FJ!!!!

For 1 time in my life i am going to stick up for the refs. The ref did make the call right away for the handball but continental did not see him and they ran on the feild becuase they thought they won the game and in the confusion the ref might have lost the player who commited the handball. I might be wrong so dont yell at me. Both sides were cheering hard and were in the heat of the moment which i love becuase that is what makes tourny games so fun. Both sides are to blame but no one got hurt so it does not matter.

EXCUSE ME... but to ANYBODY saying jennings did all of this... is out of their mind...
as the fj players were on the field everytime the ball was down by the cont. fans side
i didn't hear much of that from the fj side... i heard cheering... not dissing

then when the hand ball was called ON schmidt !!!!!! (which the ref called right away, and u knew that b/c no fj defenders had their heads down b/c they saw the ref.)
it was the fact that we couldn't get the fans off of the field... then once the fans saw that it was a hand ball
i do recall them yelling how they were giong to kill us all... and they wanted to fight on the field...
(this was not the players... but the fans)

Then after the game they once again charged the field saying they were giong to kill us and beat our a**es right there...
So i give a roudn of applause to the FJ parents and continental parents that stepped in and tried to get the unruly fans undercontrol
It's a game guys...

As for the players of continental i thought it was a good rough game both ways and the best game i ever saw...and they were sportsmanlike afterwards too... Thanks guys... Great Game...

both students section were acting very immature!!! including you probably, which is propbably also the reason you acting immature on here, like I posted earlier, continental has a few fans that ARE VERY IMMATURE!!!!! they think they are cool by acting they way they do, but do not realize that people can not stand there behavior, including the continental people!!!!

but I also said that the fj students sections behavior wasn't the greatest, and you know it.... especially since you were one of them!!!! how else would you have known that the continental fans told you guys they wanted to beat your #ss


and about the ref not knowing who commited the handball, the reff told this to the continental coach after the game so he wasn't confused annymore, and ya know how hard can it be to know what continental player made the handball when schmidt was the only player around from continental, how can a ref EVER make a call like that if he doesn't know 100% sure which player made the handball, by him not knowing which player it was,it could have been one of the FJ players since there was one continental player involved and about 4 (including the goalie) FJ players!!!!


but it was a well fought game, both teams played a good game!!!
to bad the student sections had to end it the way they did....

i no the what fj did was wrong and everything and yes it was a late call and i was right there no one from fj touched the ball with his hand. For the advantage was cause the keep was coming out so if he gets it no hand ball, maybe i am wrong i don't know but it was the right call and the at the end of the game both student bodies should be ashamed yes jennings stormed the feild thats fine, like i said they both should be ashamed. The sad part is this game is going to be looked at by a call a ref made and the fans that is not at all what i think it should be remembered as. It should be remembered as a great game and a well faught match.
