2 kids are a definite 6'5"". Thorbahn is a shooter and will see varsity. The other may see limited minutes but needs to bulk up. He's a dunker tho

Thorbahn also has the pedigree to be a good ball player seeing that his dad played at Findlay

To say Turnwald had talent is not true either

I totally agree with BigGreen.........Ottoville had no more talent than FJ!!!!!

Ok first off, and for like the 5th time, who ever said anything about state? Second, I'm not saying Turnwald had all state talent but he had a little better talent than Utendorf.

Well no offense buddy, but what exactly are you seeing? I don't have a kid playing basketball, nor do I have anyone close to me that does or has so I'm not biased or one of "those parents". So whatever it is that you see I'm sure is no different than what goes on with the other communities. But do fill me in and I'm sure I can give you my input.

Ottoville's stud 8th graders might not even win a PCL title in high school. Columbus Grove has 3 8th graders that can play with anyone in the county. Also Kalida has an 8th grader that will be something special.

That's true but who knows though. I mean does it even matter at this point. They are 8th graders right now lol. A lot can happen in the next 4-5 years.

I just think it's funny that somebody brings up the fact that Ottoville has a talented 8th grade class and people are taking it way out of context.

Thanks, that is point I was trying to make. Ottoville people have high expectations for that group of kids. Things might not pan out the way they want. Then it will be the coaches fault again

Well the point I'm trying to get across is that any small commute would think the same thing sometimes even the bigger ones too.

I think people might be putting too much stock into eighth grade talent. There are a lot of variables that go into translating Jr High success into varsity success!

Slugger, that's great for such a small town, better than none. Maybe we can get some recruits or transfers to Ottoville because of this debate. Just kidding.

I stand corrected I know a group of parents at ottoville did mention state because I was contacted to join their quest to get a new coach because he was the problem and that with the talent coming up state was possible with a better coach. As to being overconfident in your children I have no problem with but its the blaming others when it doesn't pan out that bothers me.
id really like to know who contacted you. Because I believe your not telling the truth. That is so untrue of a statement. #FakeNews #Hewastheproblem #daddymakeitallbetter #Hopehedoesntcoachagain #wasitpolitics #ShesAmom

And the school got rid of the bad variable not letting us get to the positive side of the variable table
