Who will be the top teams to compete for the PCL title in boys soccer this year? Obviously Kalida and Ft. Jennings are a threat like every year. Ottoville is comming off a good regular season last year, as well as Continental. I think that Ottoville is goin to be a very tough team if they resign Terry Eickholt to another contract. He took this year's seniors and juniors to alot of weekend tournaments when they were in Jr. High and they won all but one maybe? Watch out for the Big Green in 06!

Kalida may have a bit of a down year in 06...............

of course "down" in comparison to the near dynasty that we have become over the past 10 or so years.............i think we will struggle to find out identity early...........

when the underclassmen find their rolls on the team.........You never know what Coach Czubik can do.............look for FJ and Continental to be the class of the PCL

Fort Jennings should be good as they have been the last few years and i see no reason why Kalida shouldn't be pretty decent even though they will have to replace some serious holes

Continental soccer will be pretty good..The seniors will be a great class to watch with Ben Miller in goal He is a top noth goalie! But the queation is who will do the scoring? I think Keck and Schmidt will have to really control the middle and score goals! One good thing is the ****is gone!

Is Keck really all that quick? I think he just more smart than anything...That is something as a senior he will need to show

Continental will be the only team this year in the PCL that will be able to stop Ft. Jennings this year. With Troy Kloeppel in the middle and Scott Chandler at his side will be one of the dominate duos since Byron and Kevin. But lets not mistake Jennings still has speed all over the field starting with AJ Korte on the outside.

Im sorry cold beverage but ur wrong about ottovilles juniors and seniors winning all those tournements when they were younger. I know for a fact that Fort Jennings beat them in all those tournements because i have the metals to prove it. Resigning terry eickholt wont matter if you dont have any talent to back up the coaching. ITs gonna be all fort jennings this year in the PCL.

Fort jennings this year are going to have to fill in a lot of holes in the defense.. but they will still have the most dominate force in the PCL. their offence will still have a lot power behind it with the two senior midfielders Scott Chandler and Troy Kloeppel. they will also have A.J. Korte on the outside to boost their speed and ball control.

Fort jennings is going to take down the PCL this year with ease. Continental may be somewhat quick but FJ defense will stop them with returning starter Aaron Chandler. Also FJ's offense will be almost unstopable with their quickness and ball skills.

EVENLY distributed this year an all around good team...
offensive will be lead by scott chandler but not by much
*ALL around good team* which is what it takes to WIN

Kalida shouldn't have any problems filling holes if you consider how many kids go out for soccer. Last year I believe the number was around 50 kids. Thats crazy considering some D1 schools can barely even get 20 to go out for the team.

knights2287 i havent heard anything about that but i do know Crestview's soccer coach is originally a graduate of Ottoville so i wouldnt be suprised if that ever did happen...He is a good coach and worked well with Crestview last season as i seen at couple games esp their well faught game against ADA...As far as favorites for the PCL ill have to go with

Ft Jennings.....well coached and seems to have talent every year
Continental...Miller returning at goal should give pirates some defense
Kalida...well coached, but i just dont think they'll win the PCL this year
Ottoville...young team with a lot of potential could be contenders with FJ/Continental for top of PCL
Pandora...had a successful season last year and seems to have the experience now to win some games in the long run
Miller City...young team lost some good talent last season
No object is mysterious. The mystery is your eye.

Just a question for you guys. I few years ago when there were only 4 schools with soccer in the PCL was there a league champ? I realize that now since there are 6 teams its a little easier to have a league and a title, but with 4 teams there would be a lot of ties for the title, I'm guessing.
