Not upset at all. Just disappointed to see a coach put his son above doing what is right. Kid had no business playing late in the game, let alone taking every shot. Trying to justify by saying he deserves it because he works so hard is laughable. The starting five were on the floor until five minutes left, if this happened at LCC with kill it would have been an outrage

These kids need to play a full game as often as they can. If they play 3 quarters every night, what's going to happen when they need to play 4 every tourney game?

Shameful display of sportsmanship by leaving him in just to set a record. This is a disgrace on Lima Senior basketball.

Moe

That is a weak excuse. The team practices everyday. The excuse early in the season was we have to run the score up and keep guys in because of the late football start. Now it is to get ready for the tournament. Unsportsmanlike behavior has occurred on numerous occasions this year by Lima senior.

What about preparing the role players to step up in the event that his son gets hurt or in foul trouble. No way they can win a title with x featured as a one man show. A guy with 59 points and a huge lead should never take the first seven shots of the fourth quarter. Call it what it is, an attempt by a dad to get his son Mr. Basketball.

I'll say this.... if this was vs a local team or Lima team there would have been a lot more outrage. Dropping 65 on a team more than an hour away who isn't very good on a Tuesday night ...... meh

shameful? disgrace? Those terms seem a little harsh.....we know what is going on here. Q wants X to break records and be named Mr. Basketball in the state of Ohio. X has worked hard and earned a scholarship to Mich., these awards are just the icing on the cake. My fear is Q leaves his son in a little too long to pad his stat lines and some punk opponent tries to take him out, therefore torpedoing the spartan's chances in the post season.

Again, Fremont did nothing to stop the onslaught. No junk defense, no double teams, no slowing their offensive pace to limit possessions. Not Lima Senior's job to coach both teams. And if scoring over 100 points in a game is "bad sportsmanship", so be it. Funny, don't remember any of you folks on here two years ago when LSH was getting stomped. Our kids hit the gym and got better... Suggest others do the same...
