See Manziel, Billy http://www.cleveland..._becomes_a.html

Looks like Mizzou has dismissed Maty, per a letter from their head coach.

Maty should transfer to a D-3 or D-2 school, so he can play next year. He probably can get drafted by the Bengals or Raiders. He will fit in on those teams. Everybody is just picking on him & do not understand him. Give him a break...... Come on.....

Maltese, I expected better from you....yes call Maty white trash if you want, but to lump all Kenton, SMH. Yes Kenton has its share of trash as does Lima, Wapak, Ada, and all communities, including Ottawa.
This drug problem is not just a Kenton problem. Actually Heroin seems to be the drug of choice these days and it has taken over some of these peoples lives.
Was Maty a pampered/protected athlete in Kenton, yes, and that was wrong. But please don't lump a whole community as trash because of one

Many players make mistakes, hopefully he will be able to turn it around. You do not trash people for their mistakes, unless you have never made one yourself. I made many in my younger years, but survived so far. Good Luck, Matty.

Right now, Maty needs to get his life in order and have his priorities straight. Football should be the farthest thing from his mind now as he battles whatever demons have temporary taken over his life. In some respects this young man has lived in a "fishbowl" most of his young life in and around Kenton and at Missouri. I gotta to believe that given time his will accomplished this and take his life forward in a positive direction. Sometimes you need to hit bottom before you can rise back up. I hope thats what happens.
