12 pages of how everybody knows everything about Cory-Rawson football (sports etc...) and a coach gets hired and then nothing for two days.

Those of us that have known also know that the BoE hasn't officially approved the new coach yet so there isn't anything to say.

I believe it stems from our knowledgeable readers thoughts that the revolving door will continue.....the BOE had the chance the stop the bleeding, but instead tried to pull a rabbit (and so close to Easter mind you) out of the brushpile...the obvious choice was right before their eyes and yet again........

He still out there for the next time Pandora's job opens up.

Oh how I look forward to seeing if you put your money where your big mouth is! :-)

If/when we are in the need for a new football coach he will most definitely be on our radar....not certain he would apply though....and as far as the BOE "not officially" having hired said person, one should then inform those same people not to be letting everyone else know.....with the news now also on Facebook, the only ones in the dark are the Lima News and Courier.....

Why wouldn't he apply at PG? Apparently he's applied just about everywhere else. Or has he applied at PG previously and been spurned despite being the "obvious choice"?

If "everybody" knows who Cory's new coach is, why doesn't anybody mention his name?

I believe he did apply shortly before being named the head coach at MSML.....at the time we didn't have a teaching position open.....he made the right choice then.....he'll get another chance someday...he's too good of coach not to.....

Fixed it for you!

I think mostly because of the shock that Kaz Cramer wasn't hired.

Twasn't a shock to me....HH and Bob evidently have the same mentality as their BOE and administration....CR does not have the committment to winning any longer....the days of Berry, Abbey, Faine, Roethlisberger, etc. are long gone.....they have stooped to the Vanlue, PG, HN, and Toledo Woodward levels.....hs athletics is no longer important.....only a change such as what Cramer could have provided had that chance to change the culture......it is a sign of the times.....the BOE or some parent in the next year or so will raise a stink and the process will start anew.....Wash, rinse, repeat......the opportunity was there..
They were just afraid of upsetting the CR applecart.....

Well put. Coach Cramer is probably better off because of their decision. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the student-athletes at Cory-Rawson.

I'm just impressed that he can spell Roethlisberger correctly. :pickles: Not sure why this is remotely relevant in this thread though? :shrug2:

Because BigBen has a habit of not claiming Findlay as his official hometown. Amid the latest rape allegations, he changed his hometown to "Cory Rawson." Not Mt. Cory or Rawson, but the "town" of Cory Rawson. Currently, his "hometown" is Lima.

Nice catch......

My major at BGSU was English, of which I taught for 7 years....so a name such as Roethlisberger was easy....the CR pundits are really sticking up for this hire which makes me nervous about their connections to the BOE....I was quite certain that it wasn't going to be Cramer and said as much. The recent hires in all their sports have been shaky at best...I don't know if they're trying to keep up with the PG's but I will give them an "A" for effort.....

Cory Hefner has now officially been hired as high school math teacher and been named head football coach.

Elton... I can't control what other people post on here or thier Facebook page. I don't do Facebook and don't care much about it.

Thanks for the 13 pages of entertainment guys.

See you next year or the year after for the same circus and the same CR faithful blaming another coach. A high turnover rate isn't a symptom of bad employees, it's a symptom of bad employers. take it how you will... or just keep claiming that CR goes through coaches like underwear because no coach is good enough for CR, seems to be working out well for the program so far.
