daaa browns, Wayne Trace played in the NWC (basically a trial run) back in the 70's but opted out for whatever reason. (travel distance being a big reason back then) but I agree, WT would be a good fit n the NWC
I think so to! And not with just football...Imagine Crestview and WT duking it out for basketball titles every year...WT already plays Ada, Lincolnview, Crestview, Paulding, and they used to play Spencerville.

Swap Ada with Jefferson and it looks like a fine Southern division for the Green Meadows. :coffee:

I forgot they also play Jefferson....that is six different teams that they usually play already.....(and are willing to drive too). Wayne Trace would've had some great match-ups with some football teams these last couple years too with Ada, Spencerville, and Jefferson.

How about a new BVC? Or you can make up your own name? Say PH, Elmwood, McComb, Leipsic, Van Buren, LB, Arlington Riverdale. If Elmwood says no you can add Pandora. 8 teams make a great league

Buckshot

Not enough teams. 12 or more is the new norm. Less work for ADs to fill out schedules for sports with 20+ games and a few more butts in seats at league wrestling/track meets.

Scratch Elmwood and put the eastern NWC schools in and you've got a winner.

Madison Plains and Fairbanks just got accepted into the Ohio Heritage Conference, which opens up a spot in the MOAC.
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

Does that open up a spot in the NWCC? I think that is where FL was.

Or- does that bring that league to an even number with the addition of HN Bears?

Maybe opens up a spot in the NWCC for LCC? I know they inquired about joining a couple of years ago.

They'd win 99 out of 100 games in every sport in the NWCC.

Seriously?...???...???

I could see LCC and Ridgemont developing quite the rivalry, not to mention the likes of Hardin Northern and Waynesfield Goshen.

Fairbanks still in the NWCC? Nothing like a Fairbanks v. LCC softball game on a Thursday to get the blood going.

LCC would not be welcome in the NWCC for the reasons mentioned above......I honestly don't see LCC in a league....and they are probably fine with that.....they've added the DSJ/Elida/Bath rotation in football.....

Actually not official still in talking stages with both schools Fairbanks and Madison plains. Meeting was only if the league wanted to add the schools.

Officially offered and only seen as a formality from school board approval standpoint. Madison Plains meets April 21.

I know the GMC gets a little flak for not being uber-competitive in sports except for Tinora and WT...but i appreciate the conference being the exact same since 1978.....keeps tradition in a world thats losing that quality fast
