Arlington is a sub-par team that is about to get defeated by the Bulldogs

I bet Liberty Benton, McComb, and Van Buren are all sub par football teams this year also. Once again, let me restate, the def. of "good" changes with very game you play from week 11 to week 15.

I don't know which Calprep you are using. When I looked it had Arlington as a 2 TD favorite. Let's keep it that way. Love being the underdog.

Sub-par? Just a point: Arlington made quick work of DSJ, who beat LCC, who was one of Grove's 4 losses.
And Van Buren beat LCC .......who (VB) was beat by Arlington 31-0

It's clear you're a high schooler. also, for a team you claim that was sooo bad this year, your Bulldogs are only a 4 point favorite on CalPreps ;)

I know. My post was referring to a DSJ/CG game, which I think the Jays might win. But this isn't a DSJ thread and I'm done talking about them!

Arlington beat Leipsic by 6.
Spencerville beat Leipsic by 51
Spencerville beat Grove by 3

What does that mean. NOTHING. Stop comparing scores. It just proves anything can happen on any given night.

Exactly, especially when the Leipsic/Spencerville game was wk 1 and the Arlington/Leipsic game was week 8. Some teams get better as the season goes along and some get worse, IE... Tinora 37 Spencerville 0

Grove is not getting any credit here. They have been playing solid defense for the past 5 weeks now and Warnecke is a playmaker for the Bulldogs as the offense has improved throughout the season with him.

Anyone from either side can argue why their team will win. It is a good debate and everyone has their own opinion. This is great discussion and it's because these teams are really unfamiliar to each other. No matter what is said it will be decided on Saturday night in Findlay. Then and only then the truth will be known.

I see it as NWC backers have picked Grove and BVC backers have picked Arlington. People are picking Grove just not BVC people.

Weather for Saturday night is going to be in the lower 40's, with a 50% chance of rain. May affect how often either team passes the ball.

I think the Grove offense is going to have to pull out all the stops. If they try to line up and run the ball right at Arlington it could be a long night .

I would agree. Based only on what I've seen, Arlington stopped Combs (LB) but he ran wild against Pleasant. On the other side of the ball LB shutdown Delta and Pleasants run game and dominated them at the line. Rettig on the other hand went off on LB. Warneke is a good one, it will be interesting to see how this turns out.

I would def. agree that it will be difficult for Grove to run the ball on Arlington as it has been for all teams that have played the Devils this year. On that note Grove still needs to run the ball and they need to do it often. Their best chance is to shorten the game and keep the Arlington offense off the field. If they can stay patient and take their 2-4 yards/rush they will be right where they want to be. Just a note, the only team to beat Arlington this year was LB and they struggled running the ball in the first half but still stuck with it and had decent success in the second half as well as it opening the play action which they scored a few times (also a toss-pass that sealed the game for them) Just my thoughts, but I don't think Grove can get pass happy and be successful.

Weather most likely will have in impact on the game. It would be my thought that the advantage would swing towards Arlington with the significant size and physicality advantage over a smaller, faster Grove team. However, may limit Arlington's ability to throw as well....I am just glad it isn't going to be 14 degrees and windy with wind chill below zero...

Clear i'm a high schooler? Lets check your maturity for a minute, you never have one good thing to say about Grove so why do you even post anything?
