You're really gonna play the recruiting card on a team that got blasted by multiple public schools all year long?

People do need to get over "recruiting" nowadays. IF it happens, so be it. You play the opponents you play. Regardless of where the other team gets its kids from, all that matters is the outcome of the game. Win and you advance, lose you go home. Nothing else matters.

The ignorance of this statement is almost funny.

Your right I don't have a clue:

What I do know is that if you have a special needs son or daughter, DJS doesn't have the programs in place to take care of these students. Thus they go to the public schools. These students don't contribute to our sporting programs, yet are still counted in our student body numbers which affects our sports division. D-6

What I do know is that students that have parents without jobs and are on public assistance are less likely to be motivated to participate in sports. DSJ doesn't enroll too many of these families. We do, and yes they are also counted in our student body which affects our sports divisions. D-6

What I do know is that if a students parents are running a Meph. lab in their basement, these students are most likely not participating in sports. How many of these students are enrolled at DSJ and being counted. None

What I do know is that in a way DSJ is "Hand Selecting" the quality of their students by eliminating the non-contributors.

Caldwell,

You are a moron. Have you seen St John's student enrollment numbers? Dropping faster than an anchored rock thrown in the ocean. Hardly the result of hand picking.

I love how you bash DSJ for not having a special needs program then basically throw those kids under the bus saying they don't contribute anything to athletics except hurting a school's numbers...... I can say first hand that special needs kids do contribute a great deal to a program it just may not be on the field. I would rather have a couple special needs kids on an athletic team and bump up a division b/c of the lessons about hard work and dedication that goes unseen. Shoot Liberty Benton gave a senior with special needs a touchdown carry a few weeks ago and I guarantee that if you ask any of their coaches/players, to witness that is better than being D6 anyday.

I think this Arlington team is more balanced offensively from running and passing to defensively from front guys to secondary. This would be their year to make a long run and beat St. Johns. If DSJ can beat Arlington then, they will win the region and make it to state semi or state final.

If Arlington plays disciplined, they win this game..... I would agree with others that whomever wins this game will face Marion in the state semi.....and lose...big.
THINK! -- before you go honeybadger on someone!
