LB has no room to talk about transfers, move ins or open enrollees. They should be happy Arlington is good and can offer them a test like nobody else in the BVC can. They may have to play 4 quarters to beat Arlington and they have only had to do that once this year against BG. The team that can run the ball and stop the run the best will win and I will say that will be LB as they have been tested already and their D may be a little more stout. Arlington could sneak one out with a couple home runs from the QB or RB. If the Arlington QB makes a play to win the game I hope the story is all about football not the other stuff.

So Lawson and Fuller may have been teammates back in the day...

And the transfer stuff is out there folks, there's no use hiding it. Kids (and parents) these days can CHOOSE to go to a school for sports. It's as simple as that. There's nothing illegal about it, all are OHSAA approved.

This whole transfer thing is old news so get over it people. It happens for numerous reasons, not just for sports. I am sure if you wanted to dig far enough there are more kids who transferred in as 1st graders. Kids move, you coach who you have, and win with what you've got. I moved (transferred) in the 5th grade and ended up with league honors, Northwest Ohio honors, and state honors but I never heard one peep about anything back in the day. GIVE IT A BREAK :coffee:

It will be interesting to see if Arlington can get over the hump of choking in big games, especially against LB and McComb. In a tight ball game my money is on Leonard making a mistake over LB's coach.

Both defenses are very good and the strength of each team. I expect each offense to score much, much less than they are averaging on the year.

20-13

I believe that the winner of the turnover battle and field position will be the deciding factor of the game. That is usually the case with evenly matched teams.

Papa, I think turnovers will decide the game as well.

Arlington players look like Tarzan but play like Jane. They just aren't as tough as players from the other top BVC schools. If they were they would easily win the BVC. LB wins by 14.

Maybe you should ask their first 5 opponents if they play like Jane. I'm not so sure they would agree.

Think what you want of Arlington's schedule when compared to Liberty's. Obviously teams like Shaw and Parkway get no love because of their records but they would beat and compete with just about everyone in the conference.

Maybe just talk with the common opponent then.

I would agree. I think Shaw was much more athletic of a team as far as overall speed goes but other than that....................
