Just relax a tad......oh, by the way....you contradicted yourself in this post!!!!!!

Yeah the way I stated it does seem to contradict.

I meant they have the ability to be the best team in 3 decades. No super star like 2013, but with run by committee and good passing game now....all they have to do is keep playing.

Marion Local did not win last year. Lost in championship game. Ft. Recovery lost QB, will be back in another week. They are loaded.

Did they have an off game vs Lehman Catholic? That was before the QB was out, and Lehman is decent, but can be blown out any night (Minster)

I'm surprised no one bothered to start a new thread for the 2016 season for this topic.

They are going to have a tough time getting 1 team to win state this year, let alone all 3. Coldwater is down. Marion Local has a shot, but they have to play through Mechanicsburg and a few other solid teams again. FR looks down with their injuries. So far, Covington looks solid. I would say the MAC is still very in the hunt to win a championship, but this year sure doesn't look at promising as past years.

I think McComb is the favorite in D7. Despite ML's game with coldwater I don't see them as a dominant favorite in D6 as in past years. D6 has quite a few unknowns so far. Coldwater is a heavy favorite in D5, unless somebody is out there that I'm not aware of. If they run into somebody with an incredible pass defense, that's about their only shot at a L.

Swanton may be a roadblock in the playoffs for Coldwater. When their coach, Mike Vicars was with Delta they beat Coldwater 16-14. And..........Delta's only regular season loss was to Patrick Henry 21-14.

Coldwater is really down this year. I'm aware their record doesn't reflect that and they can compensate with great coaching but there are multiple teams in D5 that are capable of dominating them physically.

Looking at the MAC schedule this week:
Friday, Dec. 2
10:00 AM — Div. VI: Cuyahoga Heights (14-0) vs. Maria Stein Marion Local (13-1)
Saturday, Dec. 3
10:00 AM — Div. VII: Minster (10-4) vs. Warren John F. Kennedy (13-1)
8:00 PM — Div. V: Canton Central Catholic (10-3) vs. Coldwater (13-1)

How much does playing at 10:00 a.m. in Columbus for these two teams matter? I know both teams have to play in it, but thoughts?

It shouldn't matter at all. I'd actually prefer the 10:00 game, but I'm certainly not complaining about playing for a state title at 8:00.

Looks like Bucki was pretty close. And the way ML played they were lucky to have 1 championship this year.
