Trey Smith from Jefferson is on there too. Looks like a strong list to me.

1. Tyler Ulis is not listed in Illinois
2. There are only a couple listed from some states
I question these types of lists........you pay a guy to get your name out in front
of the scouts/recruiters.....how much you are willing to pay is sometimes directly
proportional to how many lists your names appears.....RM

Most of our NW Ohio boys aren't going to FL for his camps. I think the juniors (to be) are too young to have even had a chance yet.
This guy goes to the big AAU tournaments, talks to college coaches, etc...then makes a list. He has been doing it for years. Doubt any can claim they have more connections. Whether he is legit?
I will say that his NW Ohio list certainly parallels my opinions...

I follow the database pretty well and have a couple guys involved in AAU coaching so I get to see some dudes play. Based on my own eyes those remarks are my opinion.
http://michigan.scou...c=1&nid=7216185 Ahrens is only one showing up on sites I follow.
Then there's this blast from the past:

Who the hell knows how or why those schools are listed...

That is cool. Everyone has an opinion. Rick Bolus, and apparently many college coaches see it differently. I am of the opinion that many tend to underestimate the level of basketball played in NW Ohio. My hunch is every one of those guys Bolus mentioned gets (already has?) mutiple Div I offers...certainly Div II.
It is ALL based on AAU. High school performance is almost irrelevant...
P.S. I will say that if Xavier Simpson is not showing in your database...you might want to upgrade. Maybe you overlooked him...?
Edit to apologize...I see you had X rated MAC. My bad...

If he plays MAC...it will be by his own choosing. He will have opportunities at conferences that are perceived as tougher.

he is not at the top of the list but could be in 2 years. It's hard to evaluate where he is currently, because he still has 2 years ahead of him. if he's at LCC next year, it will be his team, as opposed to sharing that with Kimborough, that in itself will be a good indicator of where his lima legacy will place him
he is head smart, and athletically gifted. his dad has instilled alot of discipline in him...Greg was athletically gifted, but lacked the head stuff and discipline. X has both elements. Jamar was smart but not the athlete Greg was. I hope to see Xavier represent the hybrid of both of them

He is right now conidered the best PG in the state for his grade.
He can play with any guard.
I have never ever seen Xavier get abused by any other guard. School or AAU.
He went to the John Lucas camp and was one top performers.
Look what he did to CSVJ as a sophmore. Many said CSVJ could play D2 or D1. X picked them apart. his floater over their bigs was unbelievable.
He is so advanced for his age and his work ethic is trmendous.
If anyone can tell me 1 just 1 guard right now in our area that X cant hold or they can shut him down or contain him please please tell me.

College coaches have to project... A static picture of today's performance is, in my opinion, useless for a group of kids like this. They are all coming back stronger.
Bolus isn't putting kids on this list because he has had time to see all of them play. He is out of Florida. He simply has made years and years of college coach connections.
While I am certain this guy has and will miss on some of his projections... A list from a national prognosticator such as this at least gives us insight as to what local/national college coaches are projecting...
These guys make their living doing this stuff. Most of us just derive enjoyment...
