With the 2014-2015 football season so close, do you see any area kids going to college for football?

But you spelled caliber correctly, which is much more impressive. :hifive2:

Lima senior RB Juniel Liles. Know he's getting interest from MAC schools and some big ten schools, how much I'm not sure.

Logan Greiser (Arlington) offered full ride to play at Marshall. Expect other MAC offers to follow. Logan will be a senior OT this year.

Read on Scout.com that Brody Hoyng of Coldwater was getting a lot of looks. Might even get an offer from OSU. (wouldn't be the first Hoying to QB at OSU-and they are related.)

I think he's listed as a safety. Not saying he couldn't QB, it's just rare for many schools to offer a 5'10 180lb QB. He's too good not to have some offers though. There's always a place on the field for players like him.

There are many college caliber athletes in the area. But today, there are a lot of circumstances that go along with it. Yes, the true D1, scholarship player is what it is. But after that, most levels, there are no roster limitations. These D3/ NAIA schools have rosters of 130 -150 kids about half freshman. The better question is to ask about 2-3 years out of high school who is still playing.

Tyler Long of Tiffin Calvert has been starting since a freshman both at quarterback and at LB. I've heard that Mizzou wants him, as he blew away quite a few teams at a nike camp or some kind of football camp he visited. I know a lot of MAC schools and Cincy was looking at him as well. He has the smarts in the classroom and speed on the football field, to play somewhere good. He would play on the defensive side of the ball in college.
