Everything is "on the table" AGAIN this year. The competitive balance proposal treats public and private schools exactly the same. We will give you status quo defenders all your Northland's, Dunbar's, etc and stipulate that ALL boundary stretchers should have some reasonable limitations. We will see how the individual schools vote, if they bother to vote at all, this year.
Last year the local benefactors and their church going brethren sympathizers were completely satisfied to vote self-interest ahead of principle. Their willingness to forsake all pretense toward wanting to compete on a level playing field has been rewarded THIS year. We look forward to next week's posts where so many will want their school and children to be awarded the same accolade as Crestview...as if the two paths traveled were of equal difficulty.
Can anybody confirm the accuracy of the allegation that four of five SVSM starters are not from Ohio? I refuse to believe that things have become THAT brazen...
