Right or wrong, it's obvious Perry did not win the game. At the end of the day Arlington is moving on, not Perry. Just hit your free throws and that play doesn't even matter. Plain and simple.

Whatever helps you sleep at night lol. Anyways go Bearcats

Lol. Win or lose, I won't have any troubles sleeping from the result of a HIGH SCHOOL basketball game! There are much more important things in my life than that.

Remember all clocks show zero first & then the buzzer goes off, so it does not mean the buzzer has gone off there. Our game last year with Bath it was even hard to hear the buzzer because it was so loud.

The basket shouldn't have counted that being said you still have to play in overtime .

In this case, the Perry kid was celebrating so he had to have heard the horn. I doubt he was looking at the clock

The clocks stop at 0, so who actually knows how late the shot was... The buzzer had to of gone off or the Perry kid wouldn't be running to his bench to celebrate... THATS how bad that call was.
It's real easy for you Arlington posters to say make foul shots and they wouldn't be in the situation. Bottom line is Arlington was credited 2 pts clearly they didn't deserve. It works both ways.
Just admit Perry got jobbed and be thankful you get to play another game, unlike Perry.
I also want to congratulate Perry's coach and I'm not a Tabler lover, for the restraint he showed thru out this ordeal.
Goodluck to Arlington as they are now playing with house money....

It seems like most of the A-town posters "are" saying the shot shouldn't have counted....

He didn't try too hard because he didn't get there. I watched from the other side and stand by my assertion.
I was expecting much worse from him given how the game ended... I'm not sure I could have taken it like he did.
He could have pulled a Coop and flipped off the crowd...

Similarily, cudos to Vermillion for his handling of the situation. Not many times you see 2 coaches as frustrated as those 2 were with the scorers table and officiating. I'd like to know what was said when Tabler walked down to Arlington's bench in OT... It had become almost surreal.

What happened at the scorer's table?

Vermillion was upset w/ them early... Trying to get subs in and Tabler was upset later... And then it looked like they both agreed and decided the table was inept. There were several instances where both coaches looked frustrated by the table. I was on the other side, so I'm not sure exactly what was happening. Vermillion, at one time, was as animated as I've ever seen him in a game towards the table and officials.

Tabler "went after" a fan because the fan came into the locker room to yell because Tablet didn't shake anyones hand, just walked out. I heard Tabler told him to get out my locker room or I'll knock you the eff out

Tabler shook everyone's hand... He went first to Arlington's coaches and caught the kids after they had circled back to their side.
Can't comment on the locker room but doubt it went down quite like that... opposing fan walks into locker room to confront coach about not shaking hands...

In the future, I would not be surprised to see a rule where all tournament sites must have lights on the backboard.
