How was Kenton's JV QB last year?

You can only run that offense with a great QB and 1-2 really good WRs.

Maybe Kenton will (gasp) start using a RB?

OG had a couple kids move in last year that got on the field a bit that have some potential, as well as being fairly long and athletic at a lot of different positions.

OG had a tall kid who played OLB with a cast on a broken arm who hit pretty well. The OG folks at the game said he moved in from Cincinnati and also played QB. Is he graduating or going to be a senior next year?

He will be a senior.

I'll check my source about QB, but I think he's going to be a LB or some kind of LB/safety and they like him on defense.

He moved from Columbus area. His dad is from Ottawa and played at Dayton in college. Danny Godsil is his name, most likely an OLB.

QB position completely wide open this year. 7 on 7 work this summer may play a role, but several kids have a legit shot.

That should make OG's 7on7s and scrmmages a lot more interesting this year. I've never heard of a LB/QB. Should make the read option more interesting, too.

Anyone know if Sensabaugh played LB for Wapak when he was the QB? He sure was built like one when he played.

Logan Alexander played a little bit of backer for Elida last year I believe. He is built like one that is for sure.

Celina is graduating a lot of talent. I would not put them in the top half.
If Hoying is back they should be alright.

Shawnee had a big kid play QB that started at DE or OLB early in his high school career.

Taylor Kuhlman played QB and strong safety for OG a few years back as well.

Godsil was a linebacker in name only. In their defensive scheme it's more of monster or strong safety type position that lines up in the slot. Pretty good player with decent size but I don't think he would be as big as Caleb Siefker was at QB. And certainly not as big as his old man was when he played.

I've heard he's about 6'3" (like Siefker) but is really putting on good weight and is nearly 200 lbs (much bigger than Siefker was).

That said, Siefker probably could have been a LB but was actually OGs best pass defender on that team. Good athlete, and just heard he is walking on at U of Cincy, I'm guessing as an OLB.

Good luck to him.

Thanks for the info Owl, glad to hear Dan is bulking up a little. Will be a key player for the Titans next season. Heard the same about Caleb, best of luck to him.

Which team has the best chance at a league dominating defense next season? Will any defense be loaded with experienced seniors?

Wapak brings back alot of talent this year. The Schoelien kid could be special and also Morgan at Safety will be all league.

Wapak and Kenton have new coaches. Celina graduated Seniors. OG needs to find a quarterback. Sounds like an interesting fall. Why can't a Bath or Defiance sneak up and take the league at 7-3?

I think it is going to be wide open with 4 or 5 teams going for the title.
