Any former staff staying?

Is Moyer likely to run the offense or the defense, and what type has he run in the past?

How many guys are back on either side of the ball.

Totally different wing-t than frye ran. Not all the misdirection and dives. He throws the ball a lot more.

Really excited Moyer is going to be coaching here. He is young enough that he could be here a long time and have a heck of a run. 4 little boys so let's give his family a heck of a welcome.

Beezer,
with that many responses the thread was slowing the site......the last time this happened was when LCC folks kept saying they weren't forced out of
the NWC........Elida has also had their "claim to fame" many times.... :coffee:

be proud that this one has remained mostly positive and on task....RM

The next coach needs to pull a Jim Tressel and make the St. Marys game of importance. When he came to the Buckeyes he made the Bucks vs Wolverines a special game the kids thrived for. Come in Moyer circle this date and have the kids work to make sure the Fluffyriders fear the team that is coming and the rest of the WBL fears what is to come. When their lifting and feeling a little tired remind them who is coaching the Softriders and watch another set being put up. When its hot out and their tired from running sidelines remind them how they felt when told the ex-coach had to talk to his wife to see what he was going to do knowing full well he was going back to coach the Cuddlyriders and watch them run another set. Tell them about the time The Beezer was in Kroger and the ex-coaches son told me that they were not going anywhere a few days before his dad went back to the @#$%Riders. A quote from the greatest movie ever filmed RED DAWN! AVENGE ME!

1 thing Frye does is gets the most out of kids. He makes them work their tails off and it shows every Friday night. Not sure Moyers offseason drills but Patterson is a great motivater and lifting coach. First thing Moyer needs to do is go to Patterson and get him in board

Just a thought. What if Moyer wants to run defense ? Who runs offense ? Law ? Erb ? Outsider ? What if Moyer runs offense ? Who runs defense ? Patterson ? Don't forget Sammons ran defense for 8 years.

Beezer I get what you are saying and St Marys will be a high emotion hard hitting affair
But the circle on the calendar date should be against Kenton
Until some team knocks them off, and hopefully it is Wapak, the goal should be to beat Kenton
Beat Kenton!

I think the new coach should talk to Patterson to see if he is interested in a position on staff before talking to any other assistants. Don't think I would consider Sammons to run the defense even though he runs a good defense Patterson should have that opportunity to run the defense if Moyer wants to run the offense and I heard at lagrande tonight that Sammons has had the chance for the last 2 coaches to run the defense and he has walked away from that to just be a defensive asst. so why would you put a guy who has had the opportunity to run the defense twice and he has gave it up back in charge of your defense.

My opinion is to let Patterson run the defense and do your best to keep him. He knows how Frye thinks.
