Was listening to Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda the other day and they were talking about obnoxious ppl you don't want to be around at ur Super Bowl party....

I can't remember all the examples they gave, but, a few things mentioned were:

The "guy" who's worried about their pick/bet........ Check

The person who wants everyone to be quiet for the commercials....... Check
(although, I miss most 'cause that's my li'l girls room break--that's why there's a special site for them, right?! Guess I inadvertently avoid pissing ppl off on this one! )

The overly excited, boisterous, cheering fan.... Check

The guy who only shows up for the food and beverages..... Finally, one that's NOT me. Most ppl serve boring food and I don't eat. But' I'll drink every drop you have! Lol

The person who shows up and is a wallflower and has nothing to say...Not me. (Surprised? )

Can not talk during halftime..... YOU SO CAN NOT INTERRUPT HALFTIME SHOW!!!!!! I don't care who is performing!

So, there's a few examples of ppl whom you may not want at your Super Bowl party--or, maybe you do?

OMG.... I went to scroll to the top of the page and in doing so, accidentally hit the "1star" menu thingy..... Well, not wanting to have my topic look lame (although, apparently it is with no responses! Lol) had to vote the 5 star option instead.
Such complicated things to deal with so early in the morn.....

It's not that your subject is lame, it's just that if people are "That guy", the don't realize it cause they are indeed. that guy. We all think we are cool, lol

I'm the guy who, if I'm not watching the game alone, will sit in a group and watch, interacting with everyone and going with the flow. Mostly quiet during the commercials, as they always intrigue me. Halftime show--depends who's performing.

I am a Browns fan so the thought of remotely caring about the Super bowl is foreign to me. I do not care about the commercials nor the half time show, normally I just try to get as trashed as possible and hope to pass out before the Lombardi Trophy is awarded.

Also, worst halftime show ever, too--minus Bruno's opening drum solo ( love me some drums!!) .... And does Keidis(sp? lead singer) of the RHCP's have hops or what!.!?!?! I was impressed by his vertical! Lol

I can't believe I'm even more disappointed now than earlier.

Watching "new girl" ' cause Prince is gonna be on, but, this is the worst show ever!!

At one time or another, I have been "that guy" for everyone of those things.

I'm especially a food and beverage guy. It drives me crazy when the host (occasionally it was us) sets out food and people just nibble at it. Eat for crying out loud-we paid good money for that food! Lol

I have not been to a Super Bowl party in many a year......
Stinkys is not exactly known as a Super Bowl hotspot......

So I usually watch the game with my dad over at his house.......I usually leave around halftime though so I get home at a decent hour....
