I never started out to make Nate look bad. All I really wanted to do was enforce that I believe his younger brother is a more complete and team player than Nate. I felt Nate was all about his stats and nothing else mattered. And from what I hear his younger brother could care less about stats and just wants the TEAM to do well.

I'm sorry if I offended you. Your obviously connected to Nate in some way to defend him like this. I wish him the best of luck in his future collegiate seasons.

In my experience I was honored when college programs were offering me scholorships to play for them and I chose to go to a good D1 program where I would have to work hard to get better and by the time I was a Junior I was a full time starter. I decided to better my playing skills rather than just go to a school where I could rely on what I did in high school and just go there so I could play right away. I would much rather be a part of a top notch program that has a tradition of winning. But then again he did come from CR. Where is he playing collegiately?

Good luck tonight vs VB.

Man United Fan,

We shoud change the topic title to "The Herrera Boys"!

Do you know Nate? Have you ever played with him or against him before?

Probably not, that’s my guess! How can you put down a player like that? Are you Jealous of him? Because that’s what it sounds like... Nate HATER! mad.gif

I played with Nate all through high school and even club ball! He was our Speaking Captain his Junior and Senior year.. He is the kind of player that makes everyone around him better He trains year round not only for himself but for his team!

Yes Nate Scored goals.. I believed he scored 92 or 94 for his career.. Holds the most goal records in a season for C-R at 28.. Which he got his Junior and Senior year. Scored 24 I believe his Sophomore year and Scored 14 his freshman year and only started one game as a defender that year....

Yes, nate holds the records for assists also at Cory-Rawson.. Most in a season at 13 and Most Career around 40 some I believe..

Put ball at his feet and he got the job done!

With 40 some assist I dont think he was all about himself!?

Someone Correct me if I'm wrong with these stats please, thank you.

Oh and guess what Nate played advancing center mid.. He was our leader out on the field and off the field! I remember him being doubled teamed and tripple teamed and still scored goals. That right there says a lot about someone! He always pumped us up and got us going! He was a true leader! If he scored two goals he was yanked off the field and put back in when they needed him or at least for 5 minutes. I believe he tore up most of your PCL teams being mark the whole games let me add.. The coaches never had to leave him out there long enough for him to get his stats up.. he did that with ease!

If a good defender mark Nate they remembered him after the game and what he could do.. I remember Nate had to get his ankles taped every game his senior year and at the end of most games that they play good teams he would take his socks off and would have blood running through the tape.. Most players would start crying and walk off the field... But he kept playin on!

Nates my boy and I still talk and hang out with him when he comes home from Fort Wayne!
He received a full ride to a D2 school.. He played the forward position as a freshman and Is tied as the leading goal scorer as a Outside Mid this year.. thats pretty good for never playing the outside mid position..

Nate is the Complete Player and that way his brother trains with him every time he gets the chance!

Lets me say that the Herrera Parents raised two God gifted soccer players that I am happy to have played with

Never had the opportunity to play against nate because I'm several years older. I'm sorry my opinion offended you. And I'll try not to talk negatively about him any more. I still believe the younger brother is a better player and he also has a better supporting cast around him. He doesn't have to do it all like nate did.

Your with the rest of them because your all from CR and you feel that nate was the best player to come through CR. All I originally intended to do was give his younger brother a very good compliment and I should have just worded it differently. Give it a break already. I'm done talking about him.

I think we can stop posting on this topic. The majority agree that C-R is pretty good. that Jordan Herrera is a leader for C-R and an excellent soccer player. that Nate Herrera is also an excellent soccer player. biggrin.gif
