LCC all i can remember is Aaron Hutchins Mr. Basketball so he must have been pretty good right?
Treon Johnson, Oconnor, Kimbrough, Simpson
has there been more???

With that list I can see why your an expert on current day JV Basketball. Hutchins is the no-brainer. Your other choices would be great if this was greatest players since 2010.

Guess thats not saying alot for LCC basketball if that all i can think of.
I know alot players from past and not many from LCC come to mind. :clap:

Maybe the other Hutchins or the Bruce Hodges that wasn't asked to leave LCC. I'm sure there a a lot more choices

Doesnt Hodges play at {Perry?
If thats him he is balling right now.

1. Dan Sadlier - started against UCLA in NCAA championship game UD vs. UCLA - he won opening tip against then Lew Alcindor (Kareen Abdul Jabbar).
2. Joe Fisher former Mr. Basketball in Ohio and played at UD and had a perfect shooting game vs. Bill Walton and UCLA in regional tournament game scoring 15 pts.
3.Several 1st team All State players- Aaron and Anthony Hutchins, Fisher, Tom Terry, And Dwight McNeal.
4. Several Lima City Player of the Year award winners - Fisher, Terry, Lawrence Stubblefield, Bill Taflinger,Jr., Bruce Hodges, and steve Mulcahy.

Many others played college ball.

Finally some LCC names, and some great ones. Gene Klaus from St. John's was also on that Dayton team that played UCLA in the NCAA title game. Klaus scored 15 in Dayton's win over North Carolina that put them in that 67 NCAA title game. According to the DSJ website Klaus played in more NCAA tourney games than any other men's basketball player in Dayton history and is a member of their Basketball Hall of Fame. Sure would have loved to have seen some of those St. John's-LCC battles in the 60's.

Didn't Lawrence Stubblefield have a brother who played at the same time also? I remember watching the Tbirds some then.

At Ottawa Glandorf I would take Tim Pollitz, Ryan Maag, and Eric Pollitz. All 3 of these guys could handle the ball, rebound, score. Maag was an elite defender.

Jackson Center-

Tony Meyer and Brian Scoggin were fantastic players that led the tigers to a state title in '85

Jeff Reese Player of the Year in the state in '98

Andy Hoying Player of the Year in the state in 2012 and led the tigers to 27 wins and State Runner-Up Finish
