Totally agree with youth program involvement...exactly what Coach Selvey is doing in the WHS basketball program. He is at elementary and middle school practices, games and involved with their coaches. I have seen him at regular season games and tournament games at both levels. Give me another coach like Selvey (Moyer) and watch our programs take off. Both are outstanding young men who have a passion for kids and their chosen sport. Both were excellent high school athletes in their own right. Sounds like a good team to me.

This is correct...he was willing to at least put in 10 years is what I heard, but the committee wanted him to move into Wapak.

If Inselman wanted to keep coaching, why did he quit at Patrick Henry? It is over an hours drive from where he lives to Wapak. Does not sound like a long term workable situation.

I know it doesn't make sense but that is what he stated....as far as retiring from PH, I have no idea why he did that then applied for Wapak. The whole situation didn't make sense to me, but that is what he decided to do.

So is Moyer going to move to Wapak?

I'm sticking to Burghbacher pick. He's local and Wapak sought him out.
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

Any of the three would be knock out hires.

The Brughbacher pick is very interesting one. From what I have heard he would be a good fit for the upcoming wars Wapak and St. Marys are about to have.

Brughbacherhas made bank off having best athletes in a bad conference....it will be intersting to see how he'll be when the level of competition takes a drastic step if he were to get the job

This sounds like the same for all 3 coaches. Lower division success until playoff time then almost 1 and done.

That's what Wapak needs look at the success they had when given a hard nose coach.

You certainly could say that about any of the three, especially Wayne Trace. They didn't blossom until recently when a exceptional class of athletes came along. They also had a fairly easy playoff route this year.

Wynford became a popular school for kids who could play football due to the decline of Bucyrus HS. They've been a big school in their conference up until lately when Galion and US joined.

Fort Loramie is a relatively new football playing school packed in an area where football is king. They've had some nice wins in the program in a short period of time.

You have a good point about Loramie ever since they started football they have had success.

HELL YHEA! Lets put this baby over 1,000 posts. The sad truth was at one time I was a JJ Huddle guy when I was not banned from them. I was told about this site and have never looked back. I looked on their the other day and they had a Wapak thread that has been on their for awhile with like 9 posts I felt bad for them. Well the Beezer is going to the Touchdown club tonight to see if they would change the name to hope to win one club.
