I wonder how many of these names being thrown around also put in for the LCC job since Cooper left.

I don't think Erb would make a good head coach.

I haven't even heard his name mentioned as applying for the head coaching job. The only internal people that I have heard who have applied are Sammons, Law and Patterson.

Why in the HECK would a coach like Shriner want to coach at wapak?
Because they are D2 and OG is D3?
WHy what would be the benefits for him to go there?
Pay cant be better dont they go by tenure?
WHat about facilities?
Didnt OG get ne weight room and weights.
And new locker room?
Heck i have heard people say that if Shriner has another excellent season if he asked for Turf they probably find way give it to them.

No one said Shriner would take it if offered. For all we know, he could just be applying just to apply because he was asked to and has no intent on leaving. The money thing though is interesting, because a lot of people underestimate the money Wapak has, and what a lot of those bigger companies in town will offer.

Its called running the Online Virtual Academy and making administrative pay. Has nothing to do with teaching accounting, or getting tenure, or finding a teaching job for his wife for that matter.

Coach Shriner was seen last weekend at the High School Football Coaches Clinic taking in a few seminars and also talking
with some people in "Redcoats".......don't know if it means much, but a 45 minute drive for an extra $15,000-20,000 per year
just might perk his interest.......
home to the "Flounder & Rocketman's" Girls HS rankings

Google Ken Schriner and read the Findlay publishing article. It was a preseason article but talks about his whole career. Pretty good resume if you ask me. Power football that would fit well with our upcoming talent.

Now we're talking. Those administrative contracts for coaches are where a creative superintendent/school board can make a big difference.

With Schmerge gone he was our big back didnt see anyone his size with a power running game. I actually thought we had more athletes than power and a open style offense would be better.
