You are so far out in left field it's kind of funny!!

4me,

it has been answered that Nardini had retired......that I did not know
so whomever is the new superintendent is actually the one who I was speaking about...

btw,
since no coach has been named yet, are we to assume that the Shawnee BOE is not
playing ball? For Palte to coach the Tbirds this season a job must open in the PUBLIC
school system so that he can enjoy all the perks associated with this....maybe he'll stay
teaching where he's at, but I have a feeling he's looking for a little more.....RM

He will not teach at Grove and be the head coach at LCC. If LCC can't find him a job at Shawnee, they will have to look in another direction.

Shawnee BOE meeting is Tuesday March 18 at 6pm
The agenda has not been set yet and we are still
trying to find out whether an opening will be
created or filled by the "next LCC coach in waiting".

On a sidenote, Shawnee Country Club will be having
their monthly meeting on the Monday night before the BOE
meeting, so this could all be cleared up that night before
going to the Board on Tuesday....

Palte will be hired by LCC. I've been off here for a few weeks but thought it would be on here already. It's been a done deal since he withdrew from Leipsic.

I would agree with this.....but somehow they
have to get Shawnee to play nice.....maybe LCC
could give them 6-8 vouchers to use at their discretion for taking on this added burden.

What Shawnee needed more than that was a time machine so they could go back and NOT tell Tyler Uless that Freshmen don't start for Shawnee Basketball

Speaking of Shawnee, I hear they may have a few kids switching over to LCC.. Maybe this is why Palte's waiting?

Speaking of freshmen starting at Shawnee, I heard there were some girls also being told the same thing (that freshmen don't start varsity sports) and that it was a Shawnee "rule" which is bull because I know of freshmen starting in many sports. you play your best players no matter the grade.

Especially girls because they mature earlier. If true, they have equalled their preceding idiocy

I don't think anyone is really saying that freshmen don't start. Uless situation was an isolated moment of xxxxxxxxxx and a CYA period now lasting 4 years.

True, but Uless was after him. I've been told by several people that the Freshman thing is the reason he bolted. Urban legend perhaps, but I doubt it.

he wasn't going to UK coming out of Shawnee, He had to go somewhere he could be recognized. His family made the right choice for him, as did Elijah Pughsley's family.

Ghost,

I'm sorry but that is an uninformed comment. AAU is how you get recognized for basketball. A player at his level of skill wouldnt even have to play high school ball to get offered. High school basketball for Tyler was just a way to play a sport he loves. Shawnee screwed that up big time. Tyler's hs ball had very little to nothing to do with earning a scholarship except people wanting him to play AAU for them....maybe.
