Glory, can't really comment on the "Wives of LCC" nor do I want to..........we have called many "firsts" here at the RC over the years.......you might not like what I call or say, that is certainly your right and as you've noticed, none of your comments are deleted or altered.......try that somewhere else.... .......thanks RM

Student, let us let this one die and get some new topics. Some of you guys got too much time on your side, play a game (facebook), volunteer at a thrift store, volunteer at your church or school, visit the sick or old folks. Help some one in need. No I am not nor ever will be perfect, but the older I get, the more tolerant I seem to get. I see too much hate or anger toward certain schools or persons.

Great idea Von. I use to love it when we visited the nursing home and shut-ins as part of our service at St Johns. also love to sit on the porch during the summer and talk to elderly neighbors, hear stories of times that were really tough. My mom was in a nursing home for a year and I was only there a few times to visit her before she died but some of those people have no family near them and hardly have any visitors. Some of them would love to have anybody to visit and talk. about their grandkids or any other subject. Also bet a lot of them would love to see old video clips of past entertainers and people they knew on YouTube, like the old Dean Martin roasts, I show them to my dad on the iPad and he still laughs, heck so do I. Those guys were hilarious, especially Foster Brooks :-) Now I'm going to take my Geritol and go to bed :-)

There are definitely a lot of "firsts" reported here on the Rocketcorner. The problem is that for every "first" there are 50 other things "reported" that are completely untrue. I have no problem with the RC reporting and commenting on stories that traditional media may shy away from, but to make vague accusations regarding specific schools, specific coaches/administration, and specific players with no factual basis (at least any that you (and others) are willing to place along side your report), it really is no different than TMZ or the National Enquirer.

Your unwillingness to answer Clutch's requests for evidence on your accusations in this thread is case in point.

Why doesn't someone in the know just lay it out there. so when did each one of these kids enter into the catholic school system? I was at a game over the holidays but have no clue..All I was told by a friend was 4 of the starting 5 could be Lima Sr starters(and 5 of 5 if another kid would of played, but didn't because of a football scholarship?)..Glad this didn't happen when I went to school, I would never of seen the floor..(Barely did anyways)

What does that even mean? Every player on the team could be a player at lima senior.

At least his son Xavier. And I wouldn't count out Cobbs and Walton who are both in the soph class with Xavier. And not to mention Wilson from elida who was originally a lima city kid until last year. Oh would that start an uproar

Where would lcc basketball be without those three and west. Guess that is why the lima school board and administration will not be breaking bread at the local k of c anytime soon.

No player on lcc has ever attended lima senior high. They are lcc students and always have been. And west isn't playing basketball.

We all know that no LCC player ever attended Lima Senior. But, where did they attend Jr. High. North, South, Central, or St. Gerard & St. Rose?

As far a Rocketman revealing his sources to you, why would he? Have you ever heard of the addage that once a source is revealed it is no longer a source.

Some went to lima catholic schools and some went to BOTH. Some kids go to lima catholic schools their whole lives and then go to lima sr, elida, shawnee and bath. We going to call out these kids? I asked him to reveal his "sources" because they dont exist. I'm a person "in the know" and I kow what bull******* and whats not.
For example, can you tell me where xavier simpson went to school before he attended the catholic schools?

You continue to say you are "in the know' concerning LCC. Yet every time you are asked a question concerning LCC, you dance around it very vaguely. I don't need specific names and schools they attended. I do believe 2 players started at St. Charles right before Jr. High. What about the rest. Did they attend Catholic schools through out, start later in their academic career, or wait til they got their voucher as Freshman. I've said this before, if someone would come up with some proof disproving the theory that LCC recruits, it would kill the argument once and for all. I've yet to see it.

How about if someone comes up with PROOF that LCC does recruit? I've yet to see it. And if you have it, send it to the OHSAA.

I'm waiting on the material to disprove.

Or are you saying these kids were recruited for football and basketball in pre school, elementary and jr high? When you accuse someone of something, usually you have proof to defend your theory. What is yours?
