In the Wapakoneta/Springfield Shawnee spread there is talk of wether or not Coach Frye will be at Wapak or St. Marys next year. There is alot of rumors in Wapakoneta that St. Marys will hire Coach Frye and his 2 son's back to lead there football program. Coach Frye has done an amazing job at Wapakoneta and turned a dismal program into a contender in the WBL and put Wapakoneta in the playoffs 2 of his 4 years in the program. Will he leave to try and turn around a dismal St. Marys program? a program that thrived under his leadership and has plummetted since he left or will he continue to build the program at Wapakoneta?

I know as a Redskin fan I hope he stays and continues to build Wapaks program.

Unless his kids can't find jobs in the Wapak system or nearby, you HAVE to stay at Wapak.

It's a great upper middle class community.

You don't leave that to go to the dumpster fire that is St. Marys right now.

Now, I can see one of his kids being the next head coach there, but not him.

I know St. Marys was having issues with the levy and I think his oldest son Bo is teaching and coaching at Wapakoneta. If he stays he should have a decent team next year as it returns several starters on both sides of the ball.

I really dont think Frye will go back to St. Marys. He has this program on the right track and I would say Bo would be the next coach once he leaves. I dont see Hollman the AD hiring him back. I have seen a few names tossed around on another site nothing about Frye. As a Wapak fan we hear this same story every time the season ends and every year Frye is on our sidelines. The bad thing about if he did leave Wapak has a habit of hiring the wrong guy(Zimmer) or running off a good coach(Fell).

Wapak was nothing short of a dumpster fire before Frye got there. People this is a real situation trust me. Frye has a big decision to make. I can see reasons to stay at Wapak but I can see more reasons to go to St. Marys!

If this is a real situation as you state Gator8 I hope a decision is made in a timely manner so if Coach Frye leaves then Wapak has enough time to find a decent replacement

Maybe there is something to this Rumor of Coach Frye to St. Marys. I was at the mall yesterday and a gentleman from LCC saw I had a Wapakoneta football shirt on and asked if there was any truth about Coach Frye going back to St. Marys and I told him I did not know but there was alot of rumors flying around Wapak and he said he was at the St. Francis game on Saturday and he heard the parent of a former St. Marys running back ask Coach Frye if it was true that he was coming back. The gentleman did not here Coach Frye's response but people in St. Marys are definately hearing he is coming back.

Maybe it is best if he did leave the program has been lacking stability for years. When coach Frye came he turned the program around but every year it is the same thing IS HE GOING TO STAY or not. I love Frye and what he has done but tired of this same question. The scary thing is I dont trust the people hiring a coach they got Frye and Fell right but afraid they make another Zimmer hire. Go get Goodwin or Schultze and give them a challenge.

I agree Beezer , I don't know if I trust the people who hire the coaches either and I'm not sure if every year there is a rumor that Frye is leaving what kind of affect it has on the players. I'm sure Coach Frye hears all these rumors and if they are not true it would be nice if he put these rumors to bed.

I do agree Frye has to know these questions are there and a simple yes or no would be awesome. The one thing I would like to know is everyone says he is going to St. Marys I have not heard if they want him back in the school administration.

I have heard different stories, some say the administration wants him back while others say they don't.

You have to look at the St. Marys side of it they need to rebuild which Frye is known for but he is not a long term canidate. Plus Im pretty sure he wants to set Bo up for his first head coaching job. Alot of sore feelings he left and went to their rivals down the road. Oh the saga that is Coach Frye better than a afternoon soap opera. The sad thing is we are all putting way to much into this Obama is President Im thankful this Country makes it through the weeks. LOL

Decides to show the WBL just how good he is leaves Wapak goes to Van Wert and in 1 year they win 7games. It could happen.

I would rather see Frye coaching the Dallas Cowboys they need rebuilding more than anyone.
