Oh, I get the outrage now--guess I just didn't take it so personally.
Covington has been dissed probably more than Shadyside by many fans around here, but they definitely proved they should be respected now. Marion played pretty well and it was a 50/50 game. I don't think many teams in this area could have hung with them last night!

Covington impressed me. I'd take #12 in a heart beat.

The OHSAA has done it again..... :shrug2: they have paired Div. 24 & 26 in the semis which means..........you guessed it..........Shadyside in the finals!.....of course they will have to win again this Saturday night vs. Glouster Trimble, but I don't see them faltering...............

I'd rather shower at Penn State than root for Michigan.

Kind of fun to now sit back and read the battles (on OVAthletics.com) raging between the Trimble fans and the Shadyside faithful. They are actually insinuating that the Trimble fans are the true hilljacks. That game should be called the Hatfields vs the McCoys.

Ha! That's about right.

Trimble is right up there with Ironton as far as places you don't want to play an away game at. It's true "southern home cookin."

God...that's reliving some nightmares from the SE Ohio games I've watched. I'd say it resembles more of a scene from "The Hills Have Eyes" movies.

I can't even imagine if Trimble makes the championship game. The parking lot will be filled with beat up early 90's pickups and half the stadium will not be filled with teeth

Just for the heck of it. If NSP wins their game, any ideas where they will have to drive to play the game against either Shadyside or Trimble? Columbus, Canton ??? Your thoughts. The drive for the other 4 teams will be a picnic compared to the other side of the state.

Based on what I know locationwise, Canton would seem logical.

New Philadelphia's Quaker Stadium? 102 mile for Trimble, 90 miles for NSP, 65 miles Shadyside, 58 miles Western Reserve

Just for fun, what if North Lewisburg Triad, Arlington, Norwalk St. Paul and Gloucester Trimble win? Do you think they would rebracket? Consult an Ohio map before you answer. To me, in that scenario it would seem obvious to have Trimble vs. Triad and Arlington vs. St. Paul.
