The windy conditions would seem to favor Delphos St. John's, as, according to the preview in the Lima News, the Blue Jays have no ability nor desire to throw the ball and Leipsic is a team that hits big plays through the air.

Regardless, this is not a vintage DSJ team and I think Leipsic breaks the streak and moves on. I will predict Leipsic 21 DSJ 17

Not a bad game at all considering the score. Hopefully we work on tackling in the offseason lol.

Good luck on the rrst of your season DSJ.

Looking forward to next year!

There are a couple players on Leipsic's team that need to learn to control themselves.

I'm new to posting on this site but I've read threads for years and I can't figure out why you can't be humble in a win.You always have something negative to say about opposing teams. I figure it's your godlike MAC complex. Good luck to DSJ. Coming from someone in the BVC I hope you win the region.

I watched the game and didn't realize anything was going on. But then again, I was talking more than I was really getting into the game. What stood out most to me was Leipsic's size on the o line.

Players throwing their helmets, cursing, punching players after the tackle, etc. I understand they are kids, but it does not reflect the community well.

Leipsic had a tremendous team. Their O-line was HUGE. I was really impressed with how big they were. Their QB can throw a really nice ball as well.

In all honesty, I thought this might be Leipsic's year.......I really like their team...year in and year out.....people thought I was a jerk when I proclaimed that DSJ was the underdog......I was serious......Leipsic is a nice community who really supports their athletic programs......and their fan base have always shown class......great season to the Vikings, and I am sure we will see you again next season!!!!!!!!!!

Didnt see any of this... think I would have noticed it...

At least it's coming from someone few on this forum have respect for anyways so it wont be taken too seriously.

As for the teams and the game that actually happened, good game and I thought both teams represented their communities very well.

What 's your thoughts a bout giving condolences to a local community icon and family when seen? Ugh......

I can name the player by number, but I will refrain from doing so. It seems like you always go for personal insults when you lose. You did it two years ago too

Were you actually at the game or just giving the company line with your statement that their fan base has always shown class. The Welcome Wagon that sits outside the stadium in their truck beds is a great way to show school spirit. The throwing of gatorade bottles at DSJ fans was also appreciated. I realize it only takes a few to give a bad rep but that is just a joke that should be put to an end. Drunk and disorderly at a high school game really sends a great message. To the Viking team I thank you for a hard hitting, enjoyable game and best of luck in trying to repeat the success you had last year in BBall.

So first it was the whole team, and now it is a specific player and number. "Be humble with your win " it doesn't really matter. I would guess that a good 90 percent of athletes curse, even the catholic ones. Coach K and his staff preach playing the game the right way without playing dirty. There is nothing wrong with having some Moxy. Your statement is uncalled for after your win, but I will say good luck because the team deserves it even if your being an idiot

The player throwing their helmet/a tantrum was a different player than the one that was throwing punches at players on the ground. If you watch the game back on films, you will see it. Numerous people in the DSJ crowd were commenting on both issues.

Coming from the school whose last valedictorian liked to sucker punch opponents. Stay Classy Delphos!

What a girls basketball player has to do with different football players is beyond me. That incident was embarrassing and it was handled. Get over the past.
