I have to ask..has Leipsic added more visitor seating since last year or will we be crammed like sardines like last year?

At least we have a field on our school grounds and dont have to rely on a public park.

If your seat is to wide to fit in the stands, just stay home and listen to it on the radio. Im sure your local station will be there.

If I remember correctly, DSJ didn't even have their side of the bleachers full.

Vikes are going to have to find a way to contain Jettinghoff and be able to throw and catch the ball on offense if thet want to keep this game close.

Region 24 is wide open this year. DSJ needed a Mohawk loss to just get in the playoffs, yet they could win the region, or they could get knocked off this week by a Leipsic team that's playing it's best at the end of the season. I look for a low scoring game. Both teams have much different teams than in the past few years.

I'll be in the spot I'm always at rooting for my vikes!

Hopefully we're due for one against the Jays.

I think the fact that Kuhlman is QB lets his defensive abilities slide under the radar sometimes. Hopefully Kuhlman is on though, if he is it opens up the run game for Chamberlain and there are some good receivers to get the ball to.

How is this a comeback or burn on what was said? Both Delphos schools were landlocked way back when the field was built for both to use. A combined stadium club maintains it for the 60 games it hosts each year and the new visitor bleachers, bathrooms and concession stand are among the nicest around. If you want to be proud that your field is behind your school, so be it, but that doesn't make it any better than it really is. In the end both our taxes support our respective fields wherever they are. Good luck to both teams.

Funny nobody is talking about the Vikings size up front. They have some horses. Then Chamberlin, who has some nice wheels and Kulhman who is a very good QB and some nice weapons to throw to.

I will go with the Vikings in this one.

😱Did I just say that?

Yes, they have nice size, outweighed Mccomb and PG yet still had some trouble running the ball till late! Depends what line decides to show up come Saturday.

I think I picked DSJs in my pick'm, but I am re-thinking that now.

DSJs went 6-4 and lost to 4 very good teams. But... their wins were by an average score of 35-20 vs. six teams with a combined record of 20-40 (33%).

Leipsic beat MComb, which I think was a very nice win. Leipsic also beat everyone else on their 2013 schedule that they probably should have beaten, and actually played Liberty-Benton very well even though the score didn't indicate it. They moved the ball well vs. LB, but just didn't score. Leipsic's 8 wins were vs. teams with a 33-47 record.

I believe the Vikes will move the ball against St. Johns, and I think they will score. I don't think St. Johns "D" is as stout as LB's, but we will see. I am going with Leipsic 23 vs. DSJs 21. Is this the year, I hope so.

Go Vikes! Fo BVC!!
