Try telling Arlington ppl that, they seriously say biggest rivalry in BVC and the area, I get Arlington ppl are very envious of LB success across all sports and rightfully so but that doesn't constitute a rivalry.. Arlington hasn't beat them or even won the league since Christ was a kid.. I'm sure LB wants to beat them as much as they do any team but I would think a win over a McComb type school would taste a little sweeter.. I compare it to a jealous little brother..
Looks like I stirred the perennial LB pot. Mission accomplished.

No, just very inaccurate with the information you posted. What you "did" accomplish was having others point out that just about everyone else in the BVC over the last ten years has either beaten LB or won the conference championship....except Arlington. - Can we now just move on and talk about the game this Friday night?

I love having my pot stirred This will be a good game I have some relatives on the Arlington team and no longer have kids at L-B but I'm still gonna be cheering for L-B. That said good luck to Arlington in the playoff's and all the BVC teams that make the playoff's

It was one of the finest executed versions of the fumblerooski I have ever seen. By the time the players and fans realized what was going on, he was halfway to the endzone on a 50 yrd bulldozing run that ended with about 4 broken tackles and a chestbump that damn near knocked Craft out of the game! Nothing short of an act of God was keeping him out of the endzone. He wanted that one.

Technically, you aren't allowed to run the "fumblerooski" any more.

You sure about this?

Did the lineman turn his back to the LOS to get the ball? If so it is legal. If they ran it the way coach Nichols has in the past it is legal.

I see LB taking this one, but by less than 2 TD's.

Time for LB to join another league. NCC, NWC or NBC would be a better match. Travel might be to much.

I used to share this view too. Until I stood back and looked at things. Lately McComb and Leipsic have been giving LB a run for their money...

LB does not need to go anywhere! IMO the top of the league in the BVC is better than the NWC, so not sure how that would help LB. I am hearing there may be an interesting sub plot forming for this game .

That would be irresponsible reporting on my part lol. No conformation. We will see if anyone else is hearing the same thing.

It's not technically a fumblerooski. The guard stands up at the snap, turns a 360 (so that his back faces the line of scrimmage in the process) and takes the handoff from the QB. L-B's been running that play for years.

Hmmmm....subplot. Wondering if I can shake off the cobwebs from last night to remember what this might entail, although I do have a pretty good idea....
