Is WT really going to be that low?? Joe Eitel has them at 4th right now...

Everybody else is playing games that are worth higher point totals and the 2nd level points games are worth a lot more for the NWC teams and Patrick Henry based on their opponents.

I think Tinora wants PH to lose. If they do I am picking a WT-Tinora finals. If PH wins it is a PH-WT finals. Who you got?

I've got nobody. This is easily the most competitive and balanced region in D6, if not the state, if LCC stays in and Northwood is out.

I was thinking the same.

Outside of Crawford which I don't know much about, I wouldn't be blown away if any of the other teams beat each other.

Most all of these teams have a link to each other and have played each other outside of Crawford. Even Crawford has beat some respectable teams though like Upper Sandusky who blasted Carey earlier this year.

If somebody went 4-0 on 1st round pick em playoff picks in this region, we might need to start giving out cash prizes. :D

Brunowball, So all your scenarios are based on just whether Ada and PH win or lose. I take it you are saying you believe the other 5 teams in the play off picture, win their last game? Not predicting anything, but I could see Spencerville giving DJ a game this next Friday. This being a rivalry game and how DJ bounces back from a heartbreaking loss to Ada could play a factor in this game

That could very well happen, but I did the calculations for Ada and LCC because they are the biggest toss up games. There are quite a few unknowns, especially at the 2nd level, but the Ada/LCC game and the PH/Wauseon game are the biggest toss ups. Adding DJ into the mix, creates a lot more possibilities and it gets exponentially larger to comprehend with each team you add. With just Ada and PH, it's 4 scenarios. Adding DJ into the mix, moves it to 9-10 different scenarios or something along those lines. DJ should be favored against Spencer, but you know how that game goes and it's definitely not even close to a given. Even so, I think DJ bounces back with a vengeance after last week and the past couple years against Spencer.

There aren't too many unknowns at the 1st level. Tinora is not going to lose to Holgate. Crawford won't lose to crestline. Wayne Trace won't lose to Fairview. Crestview won't lose to Paulding. Northwood won't lose to stritch.

Jefferson is at least a heavy favorite, while the Ada/LCC and PH/Wauseon games are really a toss-up at this point. As bucki said, it's just to keep it as simple as possible.

End of season predictions. I'll add more info later.

Ada, DJ, PH all win(My prediction):
1: Tinora(9-1):------------ 21.0000
2: Jefferson(9-1):--------- 19.0000
3: Ada(8-2):---------------- 18.8000
4: Crawford(9-1):---------- 17.6500
5: Patrick Henry(7-2):----- 17.4444
6: Crestview(8-2):---------- 17.3000
7: Wayne Trace(9-1):------ 17.2000
8: LCC(7-3):------------------ 15.1500
---------------------------------------------
Northwood: 13.7500
Carey: 13.1500
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If JUST Ada loses to LCC:
1: Tinora(9-1):------------ 21.0000
2: Jefferson(9-1):--------- 19.4000
3: LCC(8-2):----------------18.4000
4: Crawford(9-1):--------- 17.6500
5: Patrick Henry(7-2):---- 17.4444
6: Wayne Trace(9-1):---- 17.2000
7: Crestview(8-2):--------- 16.9000
8: Ada(7-3):---------------- 15.5000
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If JUST Patrick Henry loses to Wauseon:
1: Tinora(9-1):------------ 21.0000
2: Jefferson(9-1):--------- 19.0000
3: Ada(8-2):---------------- 18.8000
4: Crawford(9-1):---------- 17.6500
5: Crestview(8-2):---------- 17.3000
6: Wayne Trace(9-1):------ 17.2000
7: LCC(7-3):------------------ 15.1500
8: Northwood(8-2)------------13.7500
---------------------------------------------
Carey: 13.1500
Patrick Henry: 12.9444
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If BOTH Patrick Henry and Ada lose:
1: Tinora(9-1):------------ 21.0000
2: Jefferson(9-1):--------- 19.4000
3: LCC(8-2):----------------18.4000
4: Crawford(9-1):--------- 17.6500
6: Wayne Trace(9-1):---- 17.2000
7: Crestview(8-2):--------- 16.9000
8: Ada(7-3):---------------- 15.5000
8: Northwood(8-2)---------13.7500
------------------------------------------
Carey: 13.1500
Patrick Henry: 12.9444

I have Allen East beating Mt. Gilead in all these predictions. If Mt. Gilead beats Allen East, subtract 0.4500 points from Jefferson, LCC, Crestview, and Ada's total point scores.

daaaa browns...

If Jefferson loses, they will probably end up at 16.2000 (if Ada beats LCC) or 16.6000 (if LCC beats Ada). Feel free to add them into any of the scenarios above and shift the rankings up a spot. It wouldn't really throw the predictions to crap. The same teams are going to get in regardless.

Other games besides Ada/LCC & Wauseon/PH that would be considered, at least by me, as a toss up game in the top 9 of this region, would be the DJ/Spencerville game

Would anyone care to inform me on what needs to happen for Carey to sneak in? I would love to see Calvert/Mohawk/SJCC/& Carey all make it from the MAL in their final season of the leagues existence.

I definitely am not the one to tell you all the scenarios but Drew Pasteur says Carey "Needs a miracle for a playoff berth'

For carey to get in,

Carey has to beat Seneca East
Patrick Henry has to lose
Riverdale has to beat Wynford
Hopewell Loudon has to be Calvert
North Baltimore has to beat Lakota
Waite has to beat Woodward

I think the *miracle* comes from Riverdale beating Wynford. Everything else is possible I guess.

Let's just say it isn't going to happen. I like Carey though...they just aren't going to make it, especially with Northwood playing arguably the worst team in the entire state or at least NW Ohio.

Could someone smarter than me help me settle an argument... What would the scenario be for Hopewell Loudon had they beaten Carey on Friday? Thanks!

Hopewell would be sitting 10th with 10.6055. They would have finished with 13.6500 with a win over Carey and Calvert this week.

Not enough as Northwood will have 13.75 in the 8th spot assuming PH loses.

According to fantastic50.net, Region 20 has 7 of the top 12 teams in DVI. 5.Tinora, 6.DJ, 8.PH, 9.LCC, 10.WT, 11.Crestview, 12.Ada. Calpreps has Region 20 as 6 of the top 10. 3.Tinora, 4.DJ, 6.WT, 8.LCC, 9.Crestview, 10.PH, 14.Ada.

This doesn't mean the DVI winner will come out of region 20 but the winner of the region will probably be the most challenged.

The 8 teams are decided. It comes down to Ada vs LCC to determine the final rankings.

If Ada wins vs. LCC

1. Tinora vs. 8. Northwood
2. Ada vs. 7. LCC
3. Jefferson vs. 6. Wayne Trace
4. Colonel Crawford vs. 5. Crestview

If LCC wins vs. Ada

1. Tinora vs. 8. Northwood
2. Jefferson vs. 7. Ada
3. LCC vs. 6. Crestview
4. Colonel Crawford vs. 5. Wayne Trace

One thing for certain, you can bet your bottom dollar, there will be coaches from 6 other schools at tonight's Ada @ LCC game......
