Four wins will get a spot in this region
Always a watchful eyes on those Tiffin Calvert Senecas, Marion Local Flyers, Fort Loramie Redskins , New Albany Eagles.

Don't count on it.

St. Henry is not a bad team. They have played every bit as good of competition as DSJ and come closer to winning by the score.

Should be a good game.
I wasn't counting on it. Never underestimate anyone in the MAC!

And, both from the BVC lol. Leipsic barely squeaked one out against Van Buren of all teams tonight. Even the Vikings appear down this year ..

Wow..just looked at the computer standings for the region....had to stop and say "WHO?" Some of the teams in current top 8 are definitely in strange territory and the "regular" top contenders bringing up the rear so far this season. This the year we see some new name in the play offs?

PG finally played someone last night and was destroyed by Arlington. So, who knows where they'll be at the end of the season. North Baltimore will finally enter league play and will no longer beat-up on the Elmwood and Holgate's of the world. TCC is 1-2 but in the top 8 just because they barely squeaked by one of the worst division three program in all of Ohio, Toledo Woodward. This region is BAD right now, and the only two teams I can likely say will be their for sure after week 10, is Leipsic and Arlington. However, even Leipsic appears to be a little down at 3-0 this year, as they barely squeaked out a win against Van Buren last night.

If DSJ had lost last night, I would have said write them out of the playoffs. But with games against Ft. Recovery, Minster and New Bremen left and a toss up game against Versailles, DSJ could be looking at 4-6 or 5-5 after 10 games. Hell, maybe Anna will have a disastrous game and we'll get that one :D

DSJ is getting better each game and that's all that matters right now, though!

Leipsic and Arlington have pretty much already clinched a playoff seed.

Van Buren is a lot better than you're giving them credit for. Their only losses are to 3-0 Leipsic and to 3-0 Lucasville Valley (who went 10-0 and made it to the 3rd Rd. of the playoffs in D5 last year). Both were competitive games.

That being said, I think Arlington wins handily, but it's not because Leipsic is down. Arlington is just a machine right now. They have one of those teams that has the offense to light up the scoreboard and the defense to blank you. I'm on the fence right now on how good I think Arlington will fare in D7. If they come out and handle Leipsic, McComb, Van Buren and Liberty Center they might be on par with the best in the state.

Every school currently in the top 8 has made the playoffs before.

:McComb just beat a d2team 50-0. That will move them up the ladder.

Arlington will win this region, and lose to Marion Local in the state semis.

Arlington has no chance of coming out of this region. Take it to the bank.

True, although East Tech won't win anything besides 1...maybe 2 games this year, so it murders their 2nd level points.

North Baltimore was undefeated in 1955 and again in 1995 when they made their only playoff appearance, losing in the first round to Independence. A forty year span between undefeated seasons. My point? Watch out for NB in 2035!

Ah. I think the 2nd level will be quite a bit better than a bye or Hardin Northern.
