Vick is short, old, and his release is too long. (To the delight of NFL safties) Schaub is a choker, but better than anyone we got. He would get us to the playoffs, but then fade. (See Marty Schottenheimer)

1. Accuracy, accuracy, accuracy. Very small windows in NFL
2. Field vision. The ability to find open recievers under pressure.
3. Intelligence. There is a reason that Vince Young is out of the league. He is an idiot.
4. Calm demeanor. See Tom Brady and Joe Montana
5. Arm strength. Yeah it's number 5. I didn't make a mistake.
6. Height. Somewhat overrated consideration. Some short guys can see over the line, some taller ones can't seem to.
Let's go shopping.

don't care which pick it is, but if it is a guy we think someone will want sooner than the Browns pick then it best be the first pick. That position is clearly killing the Browns. Even Hoyer is the possible Future they have no back plan Campbell, and weeden need to go. Then a RB, would round out the list
nice.
Lepiota I agree with your list as well. Intelligence though might need to be higher. Smart QB's makesmart decisions.

I wouldn't say optimistic. In fact I would say pessimistically hopefull.
We don't think good things will happen, we just hope somehow they will.

Didn't think I would ever say it, but Tebow could have been a nice addition, at this point in the game, he isn't doing anything.

Don't be pulling the ref card on this one. Blame your defense for allowing the Patriots to come back. Not only that but blame your special teams for allowing the Patriots to recover the onside kick. If the Pats don't get that, the Browns win and that "questionable pass interference" does not happen. Besides that point, the interference occured just under 40 seconds. Still more than enough time for the Pats to score.

You sure seem to be reading a lot into what I said. I quit posting in this thread because you seem to jump on everything I say and try to prove me wrong.

to be able to catch the ball anyway. It looked like to me it was overthrown.
With that said. The browns gave up an onside kick they knew was coming, and still let the Pats score
twice to win. The Defense had a chance to win the game again, and came up short. On offense, it
looked like again playing not to lose with the two TD lead so was unable to move the ball just content on punting and trusting in the defense to win the game. At some point the BRowns offense has got to
find a way to move the ball and eat up clock getting first downs, and not relying on big plays, which
gives the ball back to opposing QBs with time on the clock. YOu have to want to dominate the
offensive line so you can run, and it shouldn't matter who is in the backfield.

Are you still upset about that whole going for it on 4th down? Seriosuly get over it. That and the whole you complaining about the refs was the only post of yours that I commented on. So sorry it hasn't been everything. And no I am not telling you what to do I just find it funny that after the game, the only thing you complain about was that pass interference call. Guess what, it happens bud. You are what I call a delusional fan. You are too biased with your own team, that you don't see the big picture here. The big picture is this, the Browns defense allowed the Pats to score and then allowed them to recover the onside kick. Prevent that from happening, then it prevents this "questionable P.I. call". Look I would be frustrated as well, and I tend to put blame on the refs at time too, but in this case I would at least be objected in the whole sense that it was the defense and special teams that cost the team a win not the refs.

Well at least you have some sense keeper and are objective unlike fortfan. But I will say this, it was a catchable ball. Boyce did have to stretch out a little but he could have made that catch. Heck the ball went right through his hands (if you see the video I posted above this comment). But I don't know if it was enough contact for it to be pass interference. I mean I thought maybe Boyce was held at the 10 yard line but after that I thought it was all good. Again either way, it obviously was enough for the refs to make the call. If you look at the big picture though, this doesn't come into play if the Browns didn't allow the Pats to score and recover an onside kick, bottom line.
