Haha! And if your coach would have punted the ball a few years ago in the championship game you would have 3!!

Yep. That was a tough one. I know coaches that said he was very distraught and quiet on the ride home.

Is Riverdale a school that can compete in the BVC in football, or are they more in the mold of Vanlue, and Arcadia? Legit league title contender or basement dweller?

As far as enrollment, are they larger than most BVC schools or smaller?

Numbers have been a problem the last couple of years I would have them in the middle or just below

Riverdale should be the third largest BVC school (behind L-B and VB). As far as competitiveness...Arlington usually seems to have our number most years, and the scores are usually lopsided in their favor. In last year's scrimmage against VB (a 5-5 team), Riverdale had more scores. Does this mean we'd do better than 5-5 as part of the BVC?...I can't say...but it is something that happened against a team that ended in the "middle" of the conference.

I think most years, you'll see Riverdale around the middle in football.

Riverdale would be in the upper half of the BVC most years. They certainly could be better if they didn't have another fall sport, but that's another topic.
