I am not one to complain about offciating, Heck 32 turnovers, 4 points at the end of 1 quarter........Ottoville definitely contributed to their loss today. BUT, as I listened to the game on 1150 WIMA I thought announcer Mike Miller was just being an Ottoville homer literally complaining about every call, and when the rare possession went by when there was no foul called he couldn't believe there was a no call. Reading some of these posts with multiple folks saying the officials contributed mightily to Ottoville's loss makes me think that where there's smoke................

Does anyone know if/ when/ what station this game is replayed? I would have to see the game for myself before making any judgement.

Anyway, it still was a great season for Ottoville and a great career for this group of seniors. The program is on solid ground with talent coming up. Big green fans should be proud of all their team accomplished this season.

Down with Oville's Egos. Yes the lady green were good, but not as good as their state runners up team from a few years ago. The fact that people thought they were the best team in the whole state was a bunch of crap. They were good, but had a weak schedule, other than a couple of games (Minster& overrated-Bath). I believeThere closest games of the season were Minster (2pts) & Pandora (15pts?). I realize Pandora was underrated, but if Ottoville was so good, why didnt they demolish Pandora??

Anyway...I saw this loss from a hundred miles away. Ottoville was good but really overrated. Im glad this is over with!

GO FORT LORAMIE, BEAT HILAND!

I stopped reading your crap when you said Ottovilles ego. Nothing but nonsense.

Considering it had to go into overtime, Abby to foul out and a lil help from refs and you seen this loss a mile away? You are pathetic. Fort Loramie is fortunate to have won this so just take it and leave it.

By the way Ottoville beat Bath handily who beat Anna who beat Fort Loramie so don't go there.

Would be pretty helpful if they would update their guide...right now even it says "high school football" but is the Bath game from last night....the whole weekend says that, I guess I should just assume that it is always basketball and their guide is cracked out?

Going to write a whole article about this for my website, but I will say from where I sat(in press row near the east free throw line where Loramie was the 2nd half) there were some pretty bad calls/no calls from these refs on both squads.

There are very few times I will ever do this, but Diane Martino, Jerry Denovchek and Ann Marie Martin should be never used as a crew again because for 3 officials who supposedly have 32 years between them (one of them has 20) they called a poor game AT BEST.

I'll give it to Fort Loramie too, they got down but never gave up. Rose is a special player and showed why by hitting 10 free throws in the 4th and OT. Benanzer is a nice shooter as well.

Regardless of everything that is said Ottoville is not underrated. They played bad and Fort Loramie played just a little better. We were an easy 10 points better but 32 turnovers is BAD. Neither team deserved to win that game but someone has too. Rachel Beining is the only girl on Ottoville Squad that played well, real well. But that doesn't make it enough. The refs I will not enough waste my time giving them print. It was our game to lose and we did. Great season Ladies! Congrats to our Seniors and Coaches and also to Fort Loramie.

When I was calling the game with Caitie Craft she mentioned something I hadn't thought of.........in that big arena there's no shooters backdrop which screws with a shooters vision.

Ottoville passed up a lot of shots, especially wing 3's that they normally don't, I found that a little bit odd.

Just simply bad luck for ottoville. With Kaufman they win state. She added depth, guard play and what they needed offensively. They still could have won without her but it was not their night. We said over and over to win state you need to be lucky, determined and have composure. They didn't have that. Fort Loramie just played good defensively and that helped. But yes the officials did help take Ottoville out of this game. Embarrassing officiating for state semi game.

Kaufman is not the answer! She would have helped but do not take away from the girls on floor. Kaufman would not have helped the BAD play. We simply played like a team who was scared of playing Fort Loramie. We beat them we would have beat the other teams. I watched the first game and neither team looked better than us when we play good.

So did I but the key part you are missing is depth. She woulda made a difference in my mind.

I disagree here...how often during the season would you see Kaufman dribble into traps...Mangas and Turnwald found themselves in trouble a lot. I think Kaufman would have helped...along with finishing a few missed layups and free throws....refs were bad..but not any worse one way or the other.

still would not have change outcome. We had it and lost it! 32 turnovers and 15-45 FG with 0-8 from 3. Kaufman is not an offensive threat but a hell of a defensive player.

I would like to go over all of the Ottoville threads over the past 6 weeks or so and I would venture to say 2/3 of Mysterio's posts mentioned how much better the Big Green would be if they had Kaufman.

How many points, assists did she average this season when before the injury?

Missing my point...she would have helped the 32 TO's tremendously, which would change the outcome...there was a reason she started while others came off the bench.

5.3 ppg
40 of the teams 433 assists.
28 of their 339 steals
Those stats from her 14 games played.

Yup, just like how ottoville played liberty benton, where AC is from, who plays for Ohio State, who beat Michigan State, who Magic Johnson played for at one time. so technically Ottoville is a bigger deal than Magic Johnson?? My point exactly.

And even if bath beat anna who beat FL, if those patterns had to continue, because you know they always do, Its a matter of the players AND coaches to be smart enough to know what to do and adjust. I thought it would have been smart to pull Siefker out when she got her 4th foul, thats just me
