A better team called Ft. Loramie caused Ottovile to have their worst game of the year. They caused 32 turnovers because they were better than what Ottoville was. Ottoville is a very good team but very few people are giving credit where credit is due. Ft. Loramie is the better team, not only last Friday, but they would beat Ottoville the majority of the times. Ottoville could not handle their defensive pressure. Not once has anyone on here given them any credit for being the BETTER team, it's always been that "Ottoville had a bad game", or "the refs were so bad they cost us the game". Let's just face it, the better team won! You are not going to win many games having 32 turnovers, and who caused them? The BETTER team!! The same thing happened 3 years ago when they met in the regionals, Ft. Loramie was the better team then as well. Let's give props to the Div IV state champs...congrats, Ft. Loramie!!!

Uh oh... Oville fans will jump all over this... Just ask PostPlayer... Eventual state champs from last year (Arlington) beat Ottoville in the regional finals and they were "lucky" to win because Oville was the better team... Same old story different year.

This is why they leave voting to the professionals. Not a middle aged wanna be. Ottoville was clearly the better team but got out coached in final 3 mins. Ft. Loramie is a great team yes but it is over they won! The game was one of the worst state games I have ever watched. Ugly from both sides. Just because we lose the last game we r overrated, get a life. The Ottoville girls have lost 6 games in the last 4 years yeah overrated. All great team lose just like Ft Loramie the last 7 times they were there!!

I never said Otoville was overrated. I said that Ottoville is a very good team and they got beat by a better team. And I am not a middle aged waana be, I am just a fan of the game who does not have rose(or should I say green) colored glasses on. Just callin it like I see it...

I know this is a little late... but I'd just like to congratulate Ft. Loramie on their win over Ottoville and Berlin Hiland. Ft. Loramie might have struggled a little with Ottoville but they pulled out a win to prove they were the better team that day. It was also AWESOME watching you beat BH the way you did! You are true CHAMPIONS!!! I would also like to say that over the past week I've seen many games and the refs really weren't calling many fouls that they should have....but other moments they knit-pick.....Ottoville fans - it's time to stop whining! So you think you've been wronged.....It's over and there's nothing you can do about it...Get over it already!

Bballstud... somehow I knew you would have something to say... lol. Truth is.. Troy Christian is only true Regional Champs so far....they have a huge battle- before they can be called true Champions! They played an Awesome game against DSJ and we were struggling in areas that we hadn't been in the weeks leading up to that. They were the better team that night. Sorry...you're not going to break me.....lol.....I'm not bitter and I've moved on...maybe you should try the same!

Posting kinda early...dreaming of me again? Ottoville was off there game too..thats my point! Great teams play bad..Ottoville just happened to play bad when you don't want them too just like DSJ. Not bitter at all. The girls motto was Achieve the Dream,,Well to be honest they Achieve our dreams every year win or lose. The State Championship prize will be ours one day!! Have A Great Day Minxy

EXACTLY Flounder!!!............................As for Stud - Only in YOUR dreams!!! lol It's good that you aren't feeling bitter...however it seems like many of the Oville faithful (not necessarily you) aren't willing to admit that Ft. Loramie was just the better team on that day. It's ok to admit that, you know...it's not taking anything away from Ottoville. Both are great teams... one was just able to pull out the win and deserves "props" for that. I think everyone can agree that neither team played their best game and the refs were questionable- but the refs can't fully be blamed for the end result when players made plenty of mistakes and had opportunities to turn it around. It sucks for Oville but there's nothing left to whine about....it can't be changed. Thanks and you have a Great Day too Stud

First off refs can become the outcome of the game. I just don't see how people don't believe that. I mean I am not saying this because of my own thoughts of this game. I am just saying in particular any sport. Seen an NBA game two nights ago when the officials litterally cost a team the game because of a missed call late in the game. And they even confirmed that they missed it. The Seahawks vs Packers game last year was another missed call that determined the outcome. Point is officials make mistakes and we have to live through it. Whether they happen in the beggining, middle or end, the fact is they can take part in the result of a win or loss. So let's just leave it at that. Sure mistakes were made but in the midst of it all, both teams were playing bad that does not mean the officials can be. I have grown past this game and no longer care about whether the officials were bad or not as I too made my way around Columbus later that day. I was just saying that to make my comment about your point there. My point is the O faithful know that the Lady Green did not play their best game and admit that Fort Loramie was the better team. I don't see how anyone could see it another way. Still to this day I feel Ottoville has the better team but all it took was one night for a team to do whatever it took to be better just that one night. Unfortanitely I am not a baseball fan Minx so I will have to suffer until fall

As for Mysterio....when I vented last night about the whining Oville fans - it wasn't necessarily the posters on this site that I was talking about....I've heard WAY past my fill from people I've come in contact with in Oville....before the semi final it was cocky and disrespectfulness which was down and out rude...now the same people are constantly whining STILL and seem to have no props to give to Ft. loramie.....Last night I was DONE with it and thought if I posted and some of these "sports nuts" read it...maybe they would decide it's time to let it go and move on...Life is much happier that way..Believe Me! No disrespect to you or Studless intended.. like you Myst...i too must suffer til fall...baseball's not my thing either...lol

Well most of those people are probably parents though and I wouldn't blame them. I still have a grudge with the officiating back when Ottoville played in state vs Africentric back in 07 probably because someone close to me played on that team. Do I talk about it much? Not really it's long past but it's not improper for someone to still have their opinion about the game. I understand what you are saying and you are correct. Some people just don't let things go, I sometimes don't either and there is no harm in that. No harm in anything that you said, I knew what you meant and it's all good.
