Spartie,
wasn't there a song "Bridge over troubled waters?".......maybe someone can throw out a lifeline or olive branch could be extended?

Rocket:

From what I have heard (from a little less than reliable sources) it would take something MAJOR for that to happen. Besides X is the future for LCC, No reason for Quincy to move him..
I am a Spartan, as was my father before me.

I haven't commented to much on the LCC topics simply because LCC is doing what they are able to do to provide a winner.....not saying it is right, but they are getting away with it...........at DSJ, we do not do this type of thing....period........if I as a parent was in the same situation as Mr Simpson.......he!! no.....I would keep my son at LCC for the duration......as he goes, so the rest will follow.....LCC has some talent the next couple years........another thing that amazes me.....Lima Senior is no different than the bigger schools in the state......if they have 550 boys total in the high school.......there must be a lot of talent walking those halls who could give a crap less about playing hoops.......this seems to be a big obstacle for most of your big schools who are having a hard time competing with the schools who recruit........... whether the recruiting school is public or private!!!!!

As far as LCC winning state.........I don't see it happening this season!!!!!

We know this can't happen. We've been told multiple times that the reason these players chose LCC is the superior education.

I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

I am sure Lima Senior has plenty of quality players walking their halls every day.....trouble is that those quality players would rather be doing other things!!!!!!!!!

Even if Allen leaves, somebody close to Quincy said he wouldn't take it anyway. Said they didn't give it to him the first time he doesn't want anything to do with it.

I heard Q was told he would never be asked to coach Lima Senior for his part in the mutiny to L.C.C. to put a team around his son.... too bad he missed his older sons senior season at Lima Senior because of that.

Senior highs fault for not giving him the team when They should have when it was him or Allen.

Rocketman as usual you got the wrong inside info. If you want the real answer ask coach Fell who is his best friend is and then you will know who the next coach is. Just a hint for you.

I can't see Davis as a good fit... He is the flavor of the month though, with Bath's success lately.
I will say he is a high profile alternative to the other 2 names being mentioned.

JohnMccane_ My point exactly..When the best 4 players from a D1 school come to a D3 school watch out..Not sure about VASJ but LCC will be a tough team to beat in D3
And now you see more and more schools from big cities(Columbus, Cleveland, Dayton, etc.) in the smaller divisions. And it doesn't matter if they're private or public with open enrollment they can get players from a much bigger pool. Making it harder for the true small town teams to win a state title in basketball.
